The tour operator changed the pickup time half an hour early and did not even update the correct pickup time on their site. I was emailed when I had no email access. Completely wasted our time going to the pickup spot when the tour had already left. As you have read from the contributor Lauren here, getting a refund was a hassle & the tour operator is claiming that I confirmed the pickup time. Avoid this tour and go straight to Copenhagen airport and buy a roundtrip train ride to Malmo for half the price here.

Booked this trip prior to us going away to Copenhagen for the week (well in advance). Got the email the day prior reminding me of my booking, and giving me a meeting point. I arrived at the meeting point early as was advised on the ticket. When the time to meet the operator came and there was no bus, I phoned the emergency contact number on the sheet - but got no answer. I instead phoned the customer helpline (he was very friendly) who gave me an emergency number one digit different from the one printed where I could get in contact with the provider. I was informed that the bus would still be arriving at the scheduled departure time. As the departure time approached I got very nervous as me and my other half had gone down all of the buses and asked all the drivers and none of them were the ones booked for this trip. I started to believe I had messed up and I was in the wrong place. Two minutes after the scheduled leaving time (and 30mins after the guy had told me it was still going ahead) I received a text saying it was cancelled. This was not an automated number, and I received a text simply apologising for it, and offering a refund. This meant I had to organise and pay for travel on the day to and from Malmö - leaving me further out of pocket. Getting a refund proved difficult too, as for a while the person handling it for me couldn't get a reply off of the provider - despite me being promised on the day of a full refund. I have since received this refund two weeks later.

Malmö is such a great place to visit but it would have been much better if I had been with a group and a guide to really see and appreciate the city and its people. Other than that, it was a good experience.
