Know More about this tour

Copacabana Beach is the most famous beach in the city (maybe even in the country, or in the world) and is about 4 km long. Among the trademarks is its boardwalk with waves drawn in Portuguese stone, designed by famous brazilian landscaper Burle Max.In Copacabana you will testify why cariocas have such a beautiful tan. While you travel through these neighborhoods, you will hear a few tips on what to do around them and the interesting stories that took place in these streets.
You will pass through the historic Laranjeiras neighborhood, which hosts the Guanabara Palace, the ancient home of Princess Isabel who signed the Golden Law to free all slaves. Nowadays, the Palace is the official headquarters of the government of Rio de Janeiro.
Before reaching downtown you will pass next to the Sambodrome, where the Samba School Parade happens every year.
See from outside and get inside the iconic Metropolitan Cathedral which was built in a pyramidal form with an internal diameter of 96 meters and a height of 80 meters.
You will make your way to Urca through Aterro do Flamengo and its parks, designed by Burle Marx and hear all about Brazil’s participation in World War II as well as the founding of the city back in the late 1500s, just before arriving to Sugar Loaf.
Pass by the beautiful neighborhood that hosts one of the main sights of Rio de Janeiro, the Sugar Loaf Mountain.
The first cable car takes you to Urca Hill, a vantage point 215 meters high for which already grants beautiful views of Guanabara Bay and its islands, Flamengo and Botafogo beaches, Santos Dummont Airport, the Rio-Niterói Bridge, Urca’s neighborhood and Corcovado Mountain.
A second cable car takes you up to the top. When you get there, you will understand why Rio is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. At 395 meters you’ll enjoy breathtaking views from Copacabana beach, Niterói and the Santa Cruz fortress. From up there, you will have no trouble understanding why Rio is nicknamed “Wonderful City”.
After visiting Sugar Loaf Mountain, you will head down to an all-you-can-eat-style barbecue house. Brazilian Churrascarias (Barbecue places) offer a wide variety of sides and alternative options, in case you decide to stick with a vegetarian option, you will still leave delighted. Lunch is included only if option selected. If selecting an option without lunch, our guide will offer a variety of nearby suggestions that can fit any budget or taste!
Located between Arpoador and Jardim de Alah, it is one of the most famous beaches in the country (Have you ever heard "Girl from Ipanema"?) and one of the busiest in the city. About 2 km long, some areas of the beach have strong waves and currents, and can be used for sports.
Catch up nice views from the Leblon beach, where you can get a great perscpective of the Morro Dois Irmãos (Two Brothers Hill)
Pass by the famous Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon. The lagoon is connected to the Atlantic Ocean, allowing sea water to enter by a canal along the edge of a park locally known as Jardim de Alah.
Take a lap around the stadium and have a short stop so you can appreciate the splendor of the two-time World Cup Finals host. There you will be able to imagine the amount of history that took place since its opening in 1950 when Brazil hosted its first World Cup. You will see the stadium from outside only.
Get to Cosme Velho train Station, where you will catch the train to reach the Corcovado Mountain. Skip the line with pre-reserved, so you won't waste your time with long lines!
Upon reaching Cosme Velho Station, sitting at the bottom of Corcovado Mountain, we will catch the train with pre-reserved tickets to save time and it will take you up to the top, through the dense Tijuca Rainforest to the 38m tall (125ft) Christ Redeemer Statue. The 20 minute ride up will give you a chance to thoroughly appreciate the Tijuca Forest, which is considered to be the largest urban forest in the whole world. It represents 7% of the whole city`s territory! It’s breath taking and that alone already makes the trip well worth it.
Upon arriving at the Statue, you will have two options of reaching the top, by a lift and then an escalator, or the traditional way, by stairs, 222 Steps, but the prize makes it all worthwhile. Once up, the views and the imposing statue will take your mind off the walk up! Looking up you will feel blessed and protected by this beautiful monument of Christ with open arms, now one of the new Seven Wonders of the World! From up there you can see most of the city, all of the south zone and all the way to Niteroi. A unique view that will astound you. You will have about 40 minutes to get to know all the sides and views of Corcovado and take pictures.

Christ the Redeemer & Sugar Loaf Mountain. The lunch was excellent. Would strongly recommend this tour.

It’s not fair to book a 5 hour tour with two venues listed and end up doing more venues during a 12 hour tour! I lost another evening tour I had book elsewhere. What I booked was on a certain day and confirmed. The day before at 9pm I receive an email saying that the tour is fully booked and transferred to the day after! I had no choice but to accept. I lost a day! The day after I was collected and after half an hour I realised that the tour was not half a day which I booked but a full day! I had another tour booked in the late evening and so I had to choose which one to loose! Obviously after waiting two days to see Christ redeemer and sweet loaf mountain. I never book full day tours! They are exhausting and other people on the tour complained just the same!

Disaster from start to end . Booked the trip and no one showed up .. then they told us was fully booked so we go next day but on trip advisor it was confirmed that I booked the tour for that particular date. Then when they picked us up ..15 mins late ..no problem... We spent 1.5 hr more to pick other ppl up ... At 10 am the tour started at places we did not book. A city tour. I asked the tour leader if we r on d right tour ... His reply Infront of a whole bus was... with or without u it's gonna be done ! We had done that d day before so we didn't want to do it but obviously we had no choice after we had paid more than 200 euro... At 1.30 pm one of the excursion started ... It's true that we skipped some ques but due to a big group we still had to wait a lot... Instead of a 5/6 hr tour this was a 12 HR tour becoming to an end after 7.30 that we got a taxi back home. Don't have words for this disaster.... All the ppl in d tour (some booked online or at a hotel desk) were told something different and at the end everyone had to do same thing!

Terrible. The tour guide left us at the top of Sugarloaf Mountain. We had to make our way down on our own and I fell and injured myself. There was little concern or attention to this matter. Also, the guide did not stop at all the sites listed in the itinerary. This was one of the worst tours I have ever taken. The guide provided very little information about the sites. Very poorly organized and executed, not to mention we spent 90 minutes in the van picking up other guests before starting the tour. Never again. Stay away!

Horrible experience. Lunch is scheduled for mid/late afternoon rather than noon which makes absolutely no sense. Guests are starving by that time. Even worse, they allow some guests to do off-the-cuff activities, holding up rest of the tour, making everyone else wait for them. For us this cause at least an hour delay to the tour, with us not reaching lunch location until almost 4pm. Horrendous experience, do not book this tour. Horrible operator. Would give 0 stars if possible.

We had an amazing tour with two Luises: a driver and a tour guide that were so helpful and very good at what they do. Luis driver mastered the mountain road making it such an adventure for us watching the bus “flying” on that narrow road like 3Dgame. And our lovely tour guide Louis was so good with people and their names but more over so knowledgeable on all the masterpieces we’ve got to see speaking absolutely fluent in five languages. I would highly recommend this tour. Just make sure you get both Louises and if you stand between them holding their arms you can make a wish that will certainly become true.:))

Amazing team! Proffesionals for sure. Beautiful explanation of spots and history. If I ever visit Rio de Janeiro again, I'll be more than happy booking with them again. Cheers fellas!

Our guide, Luis was a very nice person, spoke English very well. The pick-up was right on time. The lunch was an amazing one but for some reason, no drinks are included, not even water. The only downside was that the trip says its a train ride to the Christ The Redeemer but we were taken by an elevator probably because the queue for the train was a long one. But, I believe the Tour Organizers should anticipate this and promise only what they can deliver. Apart from this bummer, the tour went very well. They give you enough time to click pictures. :)

Great experience. Our tour guide and driver were amazing. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, funny and respectful.

Semi-private tour with very friendly guide and driver and one other couple - much easier than with a large van. Plenty of time at Sugar Loaf and Cristina Redentor. Did not see stadium (closed) but visited Selaron staircase.
