  • We had a fabulous time on our trip. Andy our guide was very helpful, informative, and funny. He even sang some songs for us. The tour was extremely organized from the start to the end. It was a long day but so well worth it. We would definitely recommend this trip to anyone going to Ireland for the first time. We loved the comfort of the train with the bathrooms which is important on a long trip. We absolutely loved the beautiful scenery, and we loved the amazing history. It is now a wonderful memory for us. Thank you!!

  • Great tour...don't forget to kiss the Blarney Stone!

  • The Blarney Castle was very nice and had plenty of time to tour the castle kiss the Blarney Stone and have lunch in the town, the train ride to Cork was nice and relaxing too.

  • The train ride was pleasant and we got there early enough so the line wasn't too long. Was able to kiss the Blarney stone without too much difficulty just FYI it was not as I expected. Had time to eat lunch at a restaurant. Would've like a little more time to wander through the shops, but all in all, it was a great trip. Tour guides were very knowledgeable and helpful.

  • Amazing trip! Blarney castle and grounds were beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the day.

  • Blarney castle is a must . I would have enjoyed some additional stops on the way .

  • This is a great tour. We loved the train ride and eating breakfast on the train. The food was good and the staff was great. It is an early start to the day, but you can certainly catch a nap on the train.
When you get to Blarney Castle, if you want to kiss the stone, you really need to head there first. We stood in line for probably about an hour or more. The staircases up are narrow, but none of our group of 5 had a problem with it. Because of the time that took we were a little rushed in getting food and doing our shopping so a bit more time there would have been nice.
We had some extra time with our tour so we stopped at a cemetery that our guide was able to tell us about and we also stopped at a church that was just beautiful. They were not scheduled stops on the original tour, but was nice we got to see them. Brian was our guide and he was very knowledgeable.
The last stop for the day was the Titantic exhibition which was actually really neat. We weren't sure what we would make of it, but it was really interesting to read the stories and see the pictures.

  • This tour was amazing!

  • This tour was combined with another tour. This caused quite a bit of confusion at the train station and in Cobh. Great shopping in Blarney...most did not tour Blarney castle due to weather conditions, so we just had to experience some great shopping!

  • This is a long day and to start off be aware that there is no leisurely breakfast on board as it stated on the listing. When I asked about it we were told there is a trolley coming. Then 45 minutes later we were offered chips, muffin and soda. I wish I would have known that and purchased a proper breakfast to bring on the train. There was 5 of us so we were all grumbling about that misrepresentation. BUT....the tour and travel was great, no commentary along the way on the train, which kind of surprised me. This was such a great way to travel since we chose not to get a car and drive on the wrong side of the road. The Blarney Castle and Cork were both great. Also visited the prettiest church. Never rushed and very informative. Also lots of great shopping at Blarney. Bring your own breakfast and you will love it!
