This tour did not deliver as promised. I felt I was being nickled and dimed by tour gide's family members at each designated stop. The food was terrible. And the cars were not as described.

Had a great time and learned a lot about the island. The buggy was worn out and looked much better on the advertisement than in person. Food good. Not enough time to snorkel

Communication was good however my experience with Cozumel Buggy was one of the worst experiences I ever had in my traveling experience. I was traveling with my mom who is 77 yo and other two family relatives. I wanted to give my mom an unforgivable experience and hoped Cozumel Buggy would deliver that. Wrong the experience started bad since the beginning. I ended driving a terribly worn down mustang that had tricks to open the trunk and beat up interior and exterior. The guide did his best(at leat that’s what I think on leading the tour) he kept complain about how he had been working a lot and sweeping too deep into the ocean, which lead to pain and body ache. We were rush to do all activities from snorkelling in a beach that did not offer a many sea-life to see and we were rush to conclude the activity because of water currents. The beach was calm with beautiful weather. When I asked the guide if we could stop somewhere to purchase a hat for my niece and daughter, the guide insisted in taking us to his wife’s shops which was kind of far from the point I requested to stop. Not only that the inconveniences continued with our meals.Under what’s included the description said “ Fish ceviche at San Martin beach” and offered options on selecting your meal protein. This was not true. We were never offered Fish ceviche at San Martín Beach and at lunch the restaurant only gave us the option between beef or chicken fajitas and stated that they had no fish or shrimp available. When their Tour Post states the following ; “Fajitas, choose between chicken, beef or fish with guacamole and pico de gallo Mexican restaurant.” Also they weren’t able to make mojitos because they didn’t have any mint. Service was terrible since our table didn’t even count with napkins nor condiments. We were rushed again to leave the restaurant with the tour guide walking to our table and seating with us while we were eating what we could from their false advertisement. It became so uncomfortable to have him right on our face while we were trying to eat and have a good time. Then we were rush and had no time to enjoy the are only to be taken to a tequila location where we were offered ridiculous overpriced liquor. The horrible experience doesn’t end there, before the tequila presentation started I went to the men’s restroom and made use of one of their stalls. In there the tour guide walked in with the tequila sales person and had a conversation of how such a bad week they had and how now it was the tequila’s sales person opportunity to close a sale and make up for the week. Are you fkn kidding me!!! They weren’t aware of me being in the stalls and when I step out of it one of their team members was still in the restroom and was surprised to see me exiting the stall. Also at the restaurant and the tequila shop I was asked to answer a survey rating their service and writing down comments, ok this is the worst you can do to your visitors since the survey is not privately done and they are right on your face when you are doing it, such an intimidating thing to do. I had way higher expectations but left with such a disappointment.

My family and I showed up at the destination meeting point and the tour left early. We called and we were told someone will get us. After numerous calls and texts, no one showed after 30mins.

The cars are a mix of Old Ford Mustangs and some very poor buggies build from old VW beetles etc. The safety is very limited and the cars are generally in a poor condition. The tour itself contains a fairly long drive on paved roads with 3 stops. First stop at the beach with some fish. I would not call this a reef even if they claim that it is. Next stop at a nice beach where you get some food of medium quality. Not at all the best Mexican food I’ve had. Last stop is a shop with a short story of tequila production. But it is a standard tourist trap. You’re offered some tequila tasting with the purpose of you buying sone bottles or other tourist items. We could have done this trip ourselves in better cars and more interesting stops. Not recommended.

Tour guides were SUPER nice! We were not in a buggy though and instead of an older Mustang convertible. The beach we were snorkeled was a little rocky but the experience was nice. We then drove down the coast for lunch at a beautiful beach. The vendors will absolutely hound you... beware. Lunch was lacking. We then drove through the suburbs to a tequila tasting. This was the best part!

We had such a blast. Rene our tour guide was amazing!! He showed us all different parts of the island. The dune buggies was such a fun way to explore the island. We will definitely do this again..

Panchito, our guide, was great. Met nice people on tour too. Enjoyed the snorkeling and the lunchtime views.

The vehicles are in very poor condition. They do not look as good as the ones on the website. They look old and shabby on the inside. We had the black mustang convertible, and the speedometer and the driver's seatbelt did not work. However, it had air condition, was automatic and drove better than the dune buggies. The other guests kept on complaining that the dune buggies had steering and gear box problems. The yellow buggy even broke down during out tour. The other part of the tour was not too bad. Our tour guide name was gizmo, and he did a very good job. It was our first-time snorkeling, and he gave us a snorkeling lesson and within minutes we were in the water like pros. Our kids now love to snorkel. The reef was not too bad we actually saw fishes and corals. This spot was by a restaurant and bar, however not the spot where you get the free lunch. The people who work with the snorkeling gear also go around and take pictures of you with a go pro while snorkeling. At the end they will show you the photos on a tablet and offer them for sale. We then drove from there for about 30 minutes to the other end of the island to the lunch spot. The lunch was ok; however, the food was cold by the time we got it. You have to buy drinks as that is not included. At this point we were short on time, so we did not do the tequila tasting. We did not mind because we are not heavy drinkers, and we were traveling with young kids. Overall, i don't think this tour was worth the money we paid. If it was not for the snorkeling this would have been a 1 star. They need to get better vehicles which should improve the tour.

Book only, if you are wearing a diaper and don't mind the human BBQ experience . Their yellow buggy driving in front of us, started leaking fuel from the hot air-cooled VW engine compartment, they were probably seconds away from the car self igniting until we noticed it and had them evacuate in the middle of the road - car was left on the road and family was placed in a different vehicles. Our red buggy's steering box was completely shot with about 10 inches of play - imagine driving with your family, bouncing from left to right trying to stay as straight as possible so you don't run head on, into an oncoming traffic at 40mph on a two lane road without shoulders. Literally , nothing worked on this vehicle , no horn , no turn signals , no speedometer, only 3 gears out of 4 (no 2nd gear) with 3rd popping out constantly. The only thing my kids liked, was the loud noise and constant backfire from the rusted out exhaust. Also , as much as the tour guide doesn't care about drinking and driving (their quote: "this is Mexico - everything is allowed, hahahaha" ) and encourages you to purchase alcohol at the lunch facility . Get ready to hear "DRINKS ARE NOT INCLUDED" about 50 times throughout the tour, like this was supposed to be on top of my mind , staying alive was more important than paying 20$ extra for their drinks.
