  • We are happy because our guide Rod was so helpful to lead us up the mountain. The views from the higher planes were gorgeous. We also enjoyed the company of our cheerful team mates who inspired us to persevere on with the climb.

  • My visit to Cradle Mountain was very scenic and beautiful. Our tour guide from Tasmanian tours was very informative and gave us very clear directions and even provided us with extra coats and beanies. It was a beautiful sight to see the mountain as we could not get up to it only experienced mountaineers could navigate the rugged terrain. The Dove lake was serene and calm and very picturesque. I tool lots of pics and did a small walk due to health reasons. There were walks for two hours, three hours and even six hours around the lake.
It is always best to have a walking stick that trekkers use. especially for people of my age group. It can be very risky and one must be very careful and follow strict instructions from the guides. We had several toilet stops, we also visited Sheffield the town of murals and witnessed some of the artists painting as there was a competition on that weekend. We also visited the cheese factory and savoured the many kinds of cheese on the way back. The weather was great not too hot or too cold. I enjoyed my day.

  • We were very lucky to have a 10 out 10 weather. Amazing walking trails and breathtaking views. The tranquillity and beauty of the place is incredible. A must on any nature lovers bucket list

  • GREAT TRIP. You get to spend a lot of time 3hrs at Cradle Mountain, more than enough time to trek up to Marion's Lookout and get a beautiful view of the park area. The sights are breathtaking. I managed to walk around a portion of Dove Lake too.

Dress in layers as it gets windier and chillier as you climb higher.
