Overview

Traveling safely to Sintra and later in the day Cascais; you will see more than meets the eye, in great company with a flexible guide. Many years experience to cater for your needs and for any unforeseeable circumstances. Normally more of a walking tour, but if necessary we can always minimise walking, do some sightseeing and visit alternative sites if time to do so. Not focused in shopping, more the cultural aspects of a city with over 2000 years of existence. If possible include a gastronomic experience, either in terms of the local pastries or of the local cuisine, and who knows some wine to go with that...

Know More about this tour

You won't be just visiting the palace, with me you will be exploring the gardens and the Palace, big difference compared to most tour companies,
just a glimpse of the place, depending on the season we could always stay longer or visit another monument instead, but if you have a sweet tooth, pastries recommended
be on the edge of the world
Find out why its called what its called, and why its a romantic spot for the locals these days
walk, late lunch, snack, get a little lost, have a drink, endless possibilities here, hope that in the end you will want to get back to a town that was my home for about 7 years
Driving by another of my home towns for about 10years, and will point out why its one of the most expensive places to live in Portugal at the moment. if you are looking for real estate, we can even explore further...
If time permits, maybe a quick photoshop before entering the highway to get back to lisbon

Myself and three friends spent a fun, entertaining, and educational two days touring with Jaime. Jaime is super knowledgeable, responsive, and easy going. He listened to our sightseeing desires and then put together some touring options for our approval. Once on the road there was never a dull moment, Jaime got us to and from our destinations- Sintra, Cascais, and Evora smoothly and always with lots of information and insight to the locations. For foodies Jaime knows his food stuff, including where the locals eat... Even giving us dining suggestions for when we were on our own. He’s a great guy and he knows his stuff... hope you get a chance to tour with him! Obrigado 🤙🏽

We spent 2 full days with Jaime. The first was the Sintra/Cascais excursion. Jaime grew up in this area and knows it like the back of his hand, back roads and secret trails that no tour bus group will ever see. The second day was Evora. Again, we saw the area through local eyes. Restaurants no tourist would find on their own, one in particular, was the best meal of our whole time in Europe. His command of conversational English and his vast local knowledge make the kind of memories you’ll share for years to come. Highly recommended.
