Your guide will provide a detailed western riding lesson on the commands to have a fun and safe trail riding experience. Small - group tours (15 people max) trail riding for 5 hours. Have one professional cowboy for every two riders for communication and safety! Start riding from "Ejido de Boca de la Canada" crossing through the river which is totally awesome and the local horses are trained and sure footed.
Pass riding through a small community called "Alonso Anos" to continue crossing rivers and cornfields. While riding you pass some very interesting architectural homes built by various cultures whosettledhere from other countries. Arriving in La Huerta you pass several schools with the children waving and greeting us. Stop at one of the local tiendasfor snacks/soda/beer (cost on your own) then a 10 minute walk up to the 400 500 year old Sabino Tree to rest. Customize the trails where it's appropriate for trotting, cantering and/or galloping with theprofessionalcowboys while others may continue walking to enjoy the spectacular views. Catch-up with each other on the trails!
The bonus here is you never return back on the same trails for different views and terrain! You have more opportunities for cantering and/or galloping on the return through the flat country dirt roads. Personalize to your comfort and experience level of horseback riding. Enjoy a delicious authenticMexicanranch lunch prepared by the local women in "Ejido de Boca de la Canada". The women can prepare a vegetarian, gluten free or any other special dietary lunches just let us know in advance. The authentic ranch lunches consist of a main dish of either chicken, pork, meatballs or chili rellanos stuffed with homemade cheese. The side dishes consist of fresh squash, green beans, cactus, guacamole, rice, beans served with homemade corn tortillas and quesadillas. The local women prepare fresh juices using bottled water that varies depending on the season (watermelon, chaya, pineapple, papaya, melon, etc.).
