This was probably the best choice we made on our October 2017 honeymoon. We cannot speak more highly of the experience or of Boris and Vlad. We are grateful to have such an unforgettable memory! If you visit Kotor and are capable of riding a bike, you must do this tour!! For more details, keep reading...

We visited Kotor as a cruise stop on our honeymoon. The forecast was cold and cloudy when we met up with our tour guide, Boris. He assured us that he would tailor the day to however we felt comfortable, especially given that it would be even colder and likely raining on our bike ride. My husband is very comfortable on a bike, while I can be afraid of heights.

To begin with, Kotor is a stunning city. It is a gem we had not heard of until our trip. Vlad, our driver, took us all the way to the top of the mountain, with Boris answering all of our culture, politics, agriculture, anything questions along the drive. The drive was scary as we went up but once we transitioned to the bikes, the ride was more than manageable. We became more and more comfortable as we rode.

Boris knew all of the stops with great lookouts and he took pictures and even a video of us! The people of Montenegro are warm, laid back, and they love their country. The views never seem to get old to them and definitely not to us either. Our tour ended back at the main gate of Old Town Kotor, where we walked around before the easy walk back to our port.

This was amazing, and I would highly recommend it. The views while riding down were spectacular and some of the switchbacks were not for the faint of heart. Boris was very informative about the history of Montenegro and provided a lot of information on the ride up the mountain. On the way down, he was an excellent guide and made sure to inform us ahead of time about the most picturesque spots and photo opportunities.

My husband and I thought this was an awesome tour. The weather was less than ideal, yet our experience we will always remember. Our guide, Zoran was professional, punctual and personable. We not only enjoyed beautiful scenery we made a friend. In conclusion, don and #39;t hesitate to book this tour!!!!!!!

Zoran was a great guide he was on time and gave us a brief history of the area and guided us down the mountain with great skill. He also took many pictures and vides of our trip. After we descended the mountain 26 switch backs, we rode along the water and stopped at a wonderful waterside bar for a beer, much needed. The views were amazing and the weather fantastic thank you Zoran for a great tour!!

This trip would have been 5 except for the downpour of rain we had and had to stop half way thru. No one's fault, just Mother Nature. Vladamir Vlado and his assistant were so great and the bike ride was exciting and beautiful weather not withstanding. They told us of the history and showed us some places in Montenegro that were off the beaten trail and made it all very special. When we got back down the mountain by car the rain had let up some and so Vlado set it up for us to ride around the beautiful harbor. It was lovely! I might go back to Montenegro just to finish the Ladder of Kotor.
