A sobering but fascinating tour delivered by an absolute expert on the topic. Alun's detail on how Dachau, with its adjacent SS training center, served as the "school of violence" for the entire concentration camp network was chilling and totally new to me. The normality of this arrangement was emphasised by the student evaluation form or "Beurteilung" in the camp archive exhibit. I've since ordered Alun's suggested follow up reading Dachau and the SS by Christopher Dillon. Don't settle for less. Alun is the best!

This tour is worth every cent. I don’t think O have ever learned this much in sich a condensed period of time. Alun is the best guide one canhope for: knowledgeable, engaging and knows when to gove you time to explore on your own. I have already recommended this tour to several of my friends.

A wonderful guide For me, the tour "Nazi Munich" with Alun Evans was the highlight of my travel in Germany. I am a WWII history buff and read many many books on the topic. I can say that Alun does not disappoint.. His knowledge is vast and he gives information with passion and enthusiasm.. If I were to return to Germany, I would again take that tour.. I am thrilled to have discovered many nazi sites like Hitler's office, Königsplatz where Nazi book burnings occurred and site of Nazi Party's mass rallies. I will never forget that tour and this is the truth!!

Excellent experience, extremely moving when visiting the Dachau concentration camp, but very rewarding. The Third Reich tour was very exciting : it is so interesting to see by oneself where the events took place. Our guide, Alun Evans, is fantastic. He loves so much sharing his vast knowledge of that period. I recommend him strongly for this tour.

I liked the whole package. Dachau was on my list of things I wanted to see while in the Munich area, and the walking tour in Munich added some nice perspective to the Dachau tour. It is a difficult subject to tackle, but our guide did a great job with the information and presented it with great sensitivity as well.
