Fantastic experience to see the old and the new Macau

    This was very nice trip!

Extremely long day with not a lot of things to impress.Temples seen were disappointing to ones seen in other countries. Enjoyed the ferry crossing, trip to tower and excellent lunch in Hotel Rio.
Not interested in Casinos and although very impressive left there too long with nothing else to do or see.
Did not like the tour guide asking for tips and coming around herself with bag putting travellers under pressure. I will tip if I have been happy with service and excursion.

The tour to Macau was a good one. The boat rides were good and the visit to the sites were very interesting. The guide was clear and specific which made the tour good. A suggestion if you can have some tie up with the immigration people as they unneccessarily harras the visitors.

Most of our tours in Hong Kong had been with groups of a few people and were pretty relaxed. This one was the opposite. A number of different groups were collected together. The arrangements and organisation were OK. But my memory of Macau is not a lot to see, but a lot of people trying to see it! The sites were all very crowded, with different tour parties in different languages all shouting across each other. The other aspect that blighted this particular tour, which was beyond the control of the organisers, was ignorant people from the tour group being significantly late back from each stop. One pickup on the way to the tour was 30 minutes late, meaning we nearly missed the ferry. And then at two stops we waited more than 15 minutes for people who were late back. I believe these people should be left behind and not allowed to spoil the enjoyment of the large group. The Macau Tower was interesting to see and for me was the high point. Our tour guide Albert was pretty good at shepherding the large party. But even without the annoyance of the latecomers, I wouldn't do this tour again.
