Excellent tour. I was not sure if I wanted to visit M.A. as many had noted the early departure from SJO + ride issues as undesireable, but this entire tour was pleasant from start-to-finish. The stops along the way were very well organized. Breakfast and lunch were palatable and enjoyable. M.A. is a must see in Costa Rica. The biodiversity you will see with these knowledgeable guides is priceless. You know when there's something in the environment by the crowds. Come well prepared with the right attire, sunblock, and bug repellant. The security guards barely check your bags, but please for the love of these beautiful animals don't be that person who ruins it for us all by bringing in food.- stick to the rules It's worth it. Promise. You will feel the magic once you get past the oppressiveness of the sun/humidity. Enjoy! Pura Vida is alive and well down here.
Great day trip. We had so much fun - everything was arranged perfectly: pick up and drop off at our hotel, bfast and lunch, surprise stops on the way and our free time in amazing Manuel Antonio park. Our guide Fran was amazing and our driver too. Can definitely recommend this experience.
We had a wonderful trip, I highly recommend this tour! There must not have been anyone else that booked the tour on the day we went because we had a personal tour. Richardo picked us up in a car and the 3 of us went on our way. He was extremely knowledgeable about costa rica and was really friendly. He helped us find monkeys, birds, iguanas and even a couple sloths at the park. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and he let us spend as much time as we wanted in the ocean. Then, he took us to an exceptional restaurant for lunch afterwards with a to die for view of the ocean. 10 out of 10, you've got to do this tour!
Loved our tour with Fran and Freddy! Fran made the long drive fun with informative discussion about Costa Rican culture. Freddy was a safe and courteous driver. I loved getting to spend time at Manuel Antonio. Breakfast and lunch are great. Loved the stops along the way, such as to see jaco and tarcoles bridge
A superb national park and a beautiful day trip. The location for lunch was wow, to the most beautiful hotel just outside the national park! Loved it!
That was one of the best tours we had, Charton was so funny and energized. This was one of the best tours we had, Charton was so funny and full of energy it made the trip worth so much more He shared a lot of important information with us and you could tell how happy he was to be doing this job. He was very solicitous all the time and helped us with everything, it was amazing.
Our guide, Fran, was super energetic and friendly. She took the time to give all information to the customers in both spanish and english. It would be hard not to have a great time given all the enthusiasm she gives to the tour!
We could see the wild sloths! The price might seem expensive but the breakfast and lunch includes the price and you can have enough free time to enjoy the beach!
The day trip was a full day coming from San Jose but it was a fun tour. Fran did a great job talking about the nature, culture and history along the way. We stopped at a restaurant for a traditional Costa Rican breakfast which we enjoyed. Afterward, we walked to the Crocodile Bridge and saw 3 crocodiles. We then went to Manuel Antonio National Park and the views were great. We saw several Capuchin monkeys and a tree sloth. Visitors to the park should bring a Yeti or some container not plastic as disposable water bottles and other plastic bags are not allowed. Food wasn’t allowed, but it didn’t stop some visitors from bringing in outside food. Watching a monkey steal someone’s lunch inside a Tupperware container happened as a result. The tour has a lot of walking, so people should be careful from the walking and the heat, stay hydrated! The late lunch afterward was very well laid out and enjoyable. Long day, but fulfilling.
The breakfast was very good, the ride it’s long , you stop a few times and enjoy different points in Costa Rica. The time in Manuel Antonio seems a little short to do all the things you can do there, lunch was very good
