  • Gabriel was a very professional and fun guide. He took us further on the tour than many other tour companies were able to because he was so familiar with the land. He provided an amazing set up of snacks that included wine! He also bought our whole bus water and empanadas at one of the stops. Highly recommended if you want to see a part of the Andes.

  • Had an amazing experience! Gabriel was highly knowledgable and entertaining! He took us to a beautiful spot on the beach for our picnic and brought cheese, olives, salami, wine! Would recommend!!!!!

  • This was one of my favorite day trips in Santiago. The guide/owner Gabriel is kind, funny, and really eager to make the day a highlight for his guests. He runs smaller, more intimate groups and pays attention to details to make sure everyone is comfortable and cared for. He was punctual, hard-working, but also light-hearted. He makes a lot of stops along the way to El Yeso that larger groups can't do, and once there he drives to the best spot to enjoy the picnic. He was full of information and willing to share about his experience in Chile and other South American countries, and that personal touch made time in the car with traffic that might otherwise be annoying a fun opportunity to connect and learn. Great day, hard to imagine other tours are better in any way, definitely recommend this one.

  • Wonderful tour with a fluent guide, very kind and interesting. Gabriel is always sharing his great knowledge of anything around! Spectacular views.

  • This excursion was truly amazing. Gabriel, the owner and guide, picked us up in his van, along with another couple and a single guy. Great group of people. Gabriel kept up a running commentary of Santiago and the different areas while he drove to the canyon, about an hour away from the city. The highlight of the trip was the unbelievable scenic view at the end of the road, further than other tour buses go, and the serene lake we picnicked at. While we took pictures by the water, Gabriel set up this wonderful picnic, complete with red checkered tablecloth that he so wisely tucked so that it wouldn't flap about. The wine, a carmenere which I'd never heard of, was delightful and went well with the chips, olives, nuts, and large juicy strawberries. What a feast for the senses! And then, alas, it was time to head back. Thanks Gabriel for a wonderful memory!

  • AMAZING tour/guide!!!! Gabriel speaks impeccable English and has a wealth of knowledge. It’s obvious he loves his country and it really adds to the value of the tour. It’s a smaller group so it’s more personalized. He also knows the best spots for the best photos!! Do yourself a favor and book it!!

  • My guide Gabe was amazing! He knew so much and made sure we had a great time. The wine at the lake was amazing. I couldn't believe the views we got to see, glaciers color changing waters amazing mountain and volcano views oy so much. I want to do this trip again!!!!

  • Really good tour. Hector was a wonderful guide, very informative, friendly and funny. Great empanadas and the views of embalse el yeso were wonderful. Nice picnic too!
Due to the location it's a bit of a long day with 70% travelling vs 30% experience but still worth a visit

  • An excellent days drive into the Andes from Santiago.
At her cold and icy for the walk to the dam, but the weather is not to be controlled. Very nice picnic lunch with excellent bird watching.
