Great place to visit, the audio guide is a must, Beware though it looks like they might filming a certain Highland tv show, Yes, that one. could be there in the next few weeks. The only thing that bugged me is the road sign for Doune castle as you pass through the village be very aware that you hit one sign telling you Doune Castle is to the right as you look as if it is just a small distance, but just after that in a matter of yards you have a sign saying that it is to immediate right. If like me you missed then just head up the road and turn around. Be aware though when you turn left it is an awkward turn so you will need to reverse back a bit to go down the narrow lane. Having said all that it was a great place to visit. Enjoy

Totally personalized private shore excursion! After a chat with Alan on our interests, we were off for a fun and history filled day of the best of Edinburgh. From best places to eat and shop, to history on Mary Queen of Scots and architecture types in old town, Alan met all our expectations and beyond. Personable, knowledgeable with prompt pick up, leading us up to the door at times, we thouroughly enjoyed and learned so much in our limited time in Edinburgh. Cannot imagine coming back to Scotland without having him guiding us. Book early, he's the best.

Highlight of our 2 Weeks in England, Scotland and Wales - 3 days with Ecosse Executive Tours.
Our third and last day, we travelled to Stirling with Alan. I had lived there about 30 years ago, and wanted to see and do a few extra things, like the Wallace Monument and stopping at the place I lived previously. Alan was very accommodating and made it happen. By the way, Stirling Castle and Wallace Monument are very special must see sights, in my opinion. The historical Stirling bridge is impressive and has so much battle history. Then we went out to see Doune Castle and long-haired Highland cows, drove through the peaceful green Trossachs Hills ...the beginnings of the Scottish Highlands . We had a great lunch with Alan at a very old and quaint pub. Such a super day.
Alan was a very careful and experienced driver...we felt so safe. His luxury minibus fit 8 and was so comfortable. Every day, he provided cold bottles of water for us. Alan's voice was strong and deep and my mom who wears hearing aids, was able to hear well. We felt so taken care of. Alan made each day more special, when he wore his tartans and kilts and explained the history and Scottish pride that surrounds the outfit. Mom and I have been to 63 countries and this was definitely one of our favorite tour companies and tour guide. Would highly recommend 100. There was not a single thing that we didn't enjoy. Our trip to Scotland, was made special and memorable, because of this tour company and especially ALAN.
