It’s nice relaxing tour which covers Peles Castle, Bran’s Castle and city of Braşov. Our guide Maria was very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to everyone visiting Romania.

Prepare for a very long day!!! We were picked up at 8am amd returned at 9.45pm. The trip to Peleş was lovely, and it was great to see the mountains and villages of that part of the world. The castle too is very good. The trip to Bran is superb, and it really is breathtaking to see it up close. Some free time to eat and browse the tacky market stalls was good too. After this the trip got a bit silly. We then drove to Brasov, spending an hour here. By this time, everyone was tired and most felt that although Brasov was very nice, it wasn't really needed on this trip. The journey home was hard work, and we stopped only one in 4 and a half hours for a short toilet break. Without the detour to Brasov, the trip would have been much better and I'd have given it 5 stars. Mary the guide was great, bus was comfortable.

I really enjoyed this tour as got to see Peles castle, Bran castle and Brasov. Our guide Rodica gave lots of interesting information about the historical sites and she also gave good advice on shopping and places to eat. The whole tour was very professional and efficient and even though it was a long day it was very enjoyable. Recommend if you have limited time and want to see the castles and a bit of Transylvania.

Roxana was very kind. Peles Castle was an interesting surprise. Although it was freezing cold, it was a great day.

  • 29-Jan-2020

Our guide was a little bit 'hands-off', but very knowledgeable and helpful when we had questions. She guided us to good food, attractions, and gave us some lovely free-time.

The only downside to our trip was that we caught traffic on the way home, turning a 3 hour ride into something closer to 4 or 4 1/2 hours. Which is absolutely not the fault of the tour guide, but something to consider.

Great trip, small group of 7 on our bus. Lovely friendly guide who was very knowledgable, she told us a lot of stories about the history of romania, history of the castles and the myths about dracula. Good amount of time spent at each stop and traffic wasnt too bad so we were back in bucharest for 7pm.

  • 13-Jan-2020

Our guide Rodica really made this trip worthwhile. Her knowledge of the region's history kept us entertained and informed during some tough traffic jams on the way there and back (it was a holiday for Romanians). Both castles are well worth visiting but the traffic was really horrendous due to skiers and local travelers on the road as well. No trip to Romania is complete without learning about Transylvania so I am still glad we went, traffic and all.

It was a pleasant day. Our guide Alexis is extremely well known of the history and also he explaned to us about the sightseeings and romanian history. He is also very kind and funny. We spent our day extremely well, despite the fact that the tour was about 13hrs.

I had such a good experience, I will repeat this in the spring. The itinerary was perfect, we also had time to visit the Black Church which is well worth the time to see this piece of history. I would highly recommend if you have a day to see the fantastic mountains and history.
