This tour was great and the tour guide as well! Highly recommend it!!
We had an amazing day out with Juan Carlos who was really knowledgable about the area and also any questions about Medellin. We were blessed with a great, sunny day and found the walk up the 750 stairs easier than anticipated. Once we reached the top and had a look around, we tried a Michelana for the first time beer with mango and salt and loved it. Lunch was typical of the area and they even catered for my vegan requirements. After lunch we tried some amazing Colombian coffee, before exploring the beautiful, quaint town of Guatape. Highly recommend.
A fabulous trip. we loved Guatape, and thoroughly enjoyed climbing the rock. Strongly recommend this trip!
Jose was a great tour guide! Beautiful town - recommended!
Nicely run tour from Medellin. Tour guides were on time, courteous, and allowed met set the pace for the activities. Sights were nice and the tour guide had a good knowledge of the area and could accommodate english for me.
This tour was amazing!
This tour was absolutely fantastic! I am a 20 something who usually travels solo and usually hates doing tours. This day trip was an amazing exception! My guide, Camilo, was interesting, listened well and was very helpful. I would absolutely recommend this tour to others and plan on booking with the same company next time I come to Colombia. 5 Star experience!
Fantastic trip with an outstanding, English speaking guide who taught us a great deal. This set a high standard for the rest of your trips. Just one thing, when we returned to the hotel and read the itinerary, we should have had a boat trip included....
Excellent trip. Our driver/guide picked us up at our hotel at 9am, stopping along the way for a regional take on arepas (included). Then to the replica of the old El Penon town (before it was flooded) and a view of the lake. Next, up to La Piedra del Peñol and the rough, but rewarding, climb up. This was followed by our tour of the beautiful village of Guatape and an hour's boat ride before the drive back. Guide was excellent as well--personable and informative. Certainly a highlight of our Colombia trip.
This was a great trip. Views at Guatapé were superb, and we loved the climb. Had a great lunch in a picture perfect colonial town on the lakes. Camilo was a wonderful host for our family trip. We would highly recommend him to other travelers! He knew his history, he was very proud of his country and its accomplishments, and he had a great sense of humor -- all this kept our family, including our early 20s young adult children entertained!
