Nami Island and Everland trips were great. Friendly and excellent by the tour guide
This experience is pretty unique, I have not come across any other tour that can do ever land and nami island together. As a foreign tourist both of these destinations are difficult to get to as they are just outside of Seoul and can take hours to get to via public transit. This tour was able to eliminate eliminate the logistics nightmare of getting there.
Nami Island is a fun romanic little island. There is quite a few little shops and restaurants and sight seeing places. I went during the winter, but I could see paddle boat rentals and other summer related activities that were closed.
Everland is an amusement park outside of Seoul. It is HUGE. It is massive and is home to one of the largest wooden roller coasters in the world. Check it out, T-Express.
Our tour guide David was great! He picked us up at Myeongdong and drove us to Nami island first. We had some great conversation along the way--Nami island is about an hour from our pickup. When we got there David got us our tickets and pointed out everything we should see and do.
Once we saw everything, David was super flexible and we were able to head to Everworld when we were done with Nami island. We finished up Nami island in about 3 hours--since it was winter, not everything was open. It would likely take the full half day if it were summer!
It is under 2 hour trip from Nami island to Everland. Along the way we had more good conversation and gave us all the highlights of Everland. We spend the rest of our day there and coordinated with David to leave an hour before close.
I highly recommend this trip, it is an exceptional value and allowed me and my friends to see things that would be difficult to see otherwise. It would have taken 2 full days to do it had we done this on our own with a large part of each day sitting on a bus! David is a great guy and definitely made the parts where we were driving more enjoyable!
