The day trip to Rhodes was very good. For efficiency of trip booking communication from trip adviser I would give it 5/5. They were brilliant. The crossing was smooth, fast and well organised. You don't are time to go through paddpirt control both Turkey and Rhodes, but they do give you a meet time to allow for that. Rhodes is a beautiful island, loved the old town and you have more than enough time to explore. DO take plenty of Euros with you it is very expensive !! But we'll worth the trip. I would go again

Overall, a good trip to Rhodes. A very long day (13 hours +), but worth it to see Rhodes town. We took the the catamaran from fethiye and it took around 2 hours. Passport control was efficient, if a little basic. The journey is rather boring, but we did spot a couple of dolphins on the way over. The catamaran was comfortable and there was a takeaway booth on board. It took around 20 mins to get through security on the way back into fethiye, but the people who came off the ferry last took about an hour. This meant that the minibuses that were waiting to take us back to the hotels departed later than expected. Rhodes town is wonderful and well worth the visit. Lots of shops and restaurants. It is also nice to walk around the harbour, although it was very hot when we visited in June. Approx £60 per person via Tui, with transfers from sarigerme. A good value, interesting day out. Would recommend, but probably not for families with small children.

When we eventually got to Rhodes it was beautiful. It was hard though having to que in the heat at the begining of the trip. It didnt help also that the pick up bus went to the wrong location for us otherwise it was a lovely trip.

Booked through our hotel rep, cost us about £45 each including visas etc for Greece. Ferry from Marmaris to Rhodes was about an hour and didn’t take long to go through security. Rhodes was really nice to explore and overall had a lovely day. Would recommend the trip

My friend and I decided to go on the Marmaris to Rhodes day trip catamaran for the day. We booked through our hotel in Marmaris and the cost was £40 each, which included pick up, transported to the ferry, ferry tickets and return pick up. After the pick up to the ferry port didn't arrive we saw the hotel owner who got us transport to the ferry port, which cost us another 30TL! The passport control was manic! Only two passport control officers on! It took ages to get everyone through, then onto the ferry. We were late setting off as some passengers were happy to dawdle and hold up the ferry. The ferry was packed and a poor young girl in the next seats to us spent the hour being sick into a bag. (Not her fault really) On arrival at Rhodes the crew just pointed to a building for passport control, so you were very much guessing what to do. We were clearly told to be back at 4.30pm to get back for the return trip. Rhodes old town, a short walk from the ferry port, has changed a lot since I was last there, some 15 years ago. Not the place but the prices have sky rocketed!! A pint of Mythos beer in the old town was 6.50 Euro!! However after a short stroll round the place and we found another bar offering 2.50Euro for beer. Another short stroll and we came across a nice bar/restaurant where we had lunch, the in inevitable Greek Gyros on a plate with a beer. Exceptional staff and food at a reasonable price (Eros Restaurant) After that the only time we had left was to make our way back to the ferry. Another cattle market as people didn't know where to go, so we were all guessing...again! Through passport control then duty free then onto the ferry. yet again people were late back and the ferry was late sailing again!! Back in Marmaris it was another 30TL back to the hotel!! Would I go again? Yes but I would stay in Rhodes overnight as I didn't think 5 hours was enough time to see the delights Rhodes has to offer.
