Our guide Nick, wearing a Scottish kilt, was waiting for the 4 of us at the pier when our tender let us off. The weather was a little gloomy, but typical. Dumfernline was lovely and quaint, and we enjoyed the best fish and chips lunch EVER at a small local eatery. On to St. Andrews where we saw the beach on which the famous scene from CHARIOTS OF FIRE was filmed. Then my husband, a golf enthusiast (loves to play and watch), got to see first hand the famed St. Andrews golf courses, and got his picture taken on the Swilken bridge. One bucket list item checked for him. Nick was both driver and guide and was excellent at both!

Cannot recommend more highly! If you are visiting Edinburgh, this is the tour group to book with! We had to private tours with Alan during our stay in Edinburgh, and it was the highlight of our trip. He was warm, funny, and very knowledgeable. The tour was amazing!

We had a great day thanks to our guide Allen! We were traveling with our eleven month old grandson and Allen was very accommodating.

Highlight of our 2 Weeks in England, Scotland and Wales.
The first tour we went on, was a day drip to St. Andrews, Dunfermline and the Fife Coast. The scenery was so special...such green, rolling hills, fishing villages, impressive bridges, etc. We had a super fish and chips lunch with Alan. St. Andrews Golf Course was a 'must see', because my nephews family is in the golfing business. It was impressive to see the place and have our photos taken there. Then we were taken to Dunfermline Abby where King Robert the Bruce was buried. For the past 3 years I've been researching on ancestry.com and found that we directly link back to the king...great grandfather...15x, so we definitely wanted to know all the history of the king. Alan is full of interesting Scottish knowledge and a lot of funny stories... we feel like we all learned a lot and had a lot of laughs.
Alan was a very careful and experienced driver...we felt so safe. His luxury minibus fit 8 and was so comfortable. Every day, he provided cold bottles of water for us. Alan's voice was strong and deep and my mom who wears hearing aids, was able to hear well. We felt so taken care of. Alan made each day more special, when he wore his tartans and kilts and explained the history and Scottish pride that surrounds the outfit. Mom and I have been to 63 countries and this was definitely one of our favorite tour companies and tour guide. Would highly recommend 100. There was not a single thing that we didn't enjoy. Our trip to Scotland, was made special and memorable, because of this tour company and especially ALAN.

Alan was a star! Knowledgeable and entertaining. The transport was first class - comfortable and everything we could need from umbrellas to sweets ! Best fish and chips ever and a thoroughly brilliant day out.
