  • My fellow study abroad students and I found this a convenient way to get from Siena to Venice. The website fails to note that it takes nearly half of the 16 hours for travel, and that you have to wait nearly two hours in Florence before joining the rest of the group. The tour guide was very passionate about Italy, so when he shared, he made us all feel quite at home in Venice. I believe we saw and experienced the best attractions in Venice, so the use of time while we were there was effective. If you are looking for lots of free time, don't partake in the optional tours, etc.

  • Our guide was super wonderful, very knowledgable and friendly. Also the glass blowing demonstration was amazing! This is a great way to get from Siena to Venice without having to drive yourself or take public transportation which can be stressful. Also they picked me up at my apt right on time and the bus driver dropped me back in Siena, it was very easy. Just be advised Venice is far from Siena. I was gone for 16 hours and only 5 spent in Venice. A great way to see it real quick but if there is time you might want to spend the night.
