Know More about this tour

Meet the guide and the group at Union station to begin this 2-hour bus tour.

Seeing DC monuments at night is a special experience that not many visitors to the city try out. The various landmarks look brilliant while illuminated and with this tour youll see so many of them.

There are stops on the tour at which visitors can stop off and take a look around, such as the impassive Lincoln memorial and the inspiring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial. The Lincoln Memorial is one of the best sights to see in the city, as its a humbling homage to the 16th president. The architecture of the memorial is astounding and looking upon it is sure to inspire awe in any visitor.
War memorials also take pride of place in the city, with the Korean War Memorials, of which look especially striking in the dusk. The Korean War Memorial is made up of 19 life-size soldier figures and, at night, these are illuminated by spotlights. It makes for a wonderful trip for those interested in military history or sculptures. A view from the coach at the Vietnam veterans memorial Wall is also a humbling experience and with this tour you can spend time truly appreciating it. There are almost 60,000 names on this war memorial of those who were killed or missing during the conflict.

These memorials are just a couple of the most famous in the city and they are truly breathtaking at dusk.

The White house is often pictured on television during the day, so not many realize how it looks at night. The entire structure of the iconic building is lit and ,on this tour, youll get the opportunity to take a picture in front of it. This is the quintessential Washington DC sight, so you wouldnt want to leave the city without a photo opportunity.

While youre touring the city, youll also get to see more of the city from the Comfort of our motor coaches. Travel in Comfort as you see the U.S. Capitol Building, Washington monument, Pennsylvania Avenue and more. Our experienced and licensed driver guide will show you all of the sights and give you insider knowledge on their history.

Viewing the monuments at night is a totally different experience than during the day. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable and professional. He provided plenty of time to visit each monument.

We really enjoyed the sites we visited. Unfortunately the trip got off to a disappointing start because it was oversold by about 18 people for the bus which was supposed to transport us. After about 20 minutes a new bus arrived and we were all moved on to it. The driver remained calm and kept us all in the loop very well. The driver was was very knowledgeable but his narration could have been clearer. I’m not sure if it was the speaker system/ volume but both my wife I were not fully clear on everything. The cost was very good for tour

The bus tour started out a little rocky. The driver was very concerned that not all of the air conditioning was working on the bus, so he called some people and messed with it a while. The tour started about 20 minutes late. Once we started there were a lot pf places where traffic was blocked which was a little frustrating, but then we got on track and stopped at a few monuments. Our driver was incredibly knowledgeable and shared so much information that I has never heard before. The stops were long enough to look at the monuments and take quick pictures.
Although it had a rocky start I would definitely recommend this tour.

We did the DC after dark tour. It was reasonably priced and took us to most of the monuments that kept us from walking to them.

This is a 2-hour informative tour taking you to the highlights of DC in an airconditioned bus. We went in the summer so there was nothing "dark" about it since the sun was still fully out but it helped to be dropped off at the sites instead of walking everywhere in the summer heat. I would highly recommend this tour for families!

Our tour fell during "peak bloom" of the cherry blossoms, so we were late arriving at the bus. The guide held the bus for us which was greatly appreciated! Our tour guide was Mike. He was funny and knowledgeable about the sites he pointed out. The description said we could walk around two sites, but we actually made three stops which made us very happy! This was a very good value for the price.

Our bus driver was great but we didnt get to see all of the things we would have liked to, after dark. It was very crowded in DC and there were a few times when he couldnt find a place to park his bus. Also, expected to see Iwo Jima memorial but road was blocked. It seems like that should have been known prior.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed. Yes the driver told us he was going to leave if we weren't back on time but he knew I was planning on being back with them. I was actually 5 minutes early. Instead I found myself completely lost at the Lincoln memorial and I was only lucky my taxi was there. I did however get some GREAT photos- that much I was happy with. Look if you can get to the memorials via taxi do that because then you can choose how long you were there for. We also missed out on seeing the Whitehouse which was a big part of why I wanted to go. The Trump jokes made everyone to embarrassed to admit they really wanted to see it and we got to see the back white wall only. Overall a very average tour.

My family and I enjoyed the tour very much. It was very easy to find the pickup location. Tour guide/driver was knowledgeable. Lights on the bus were turned off making it easy to see the sights in the dark. It was especially nice to see the holiday decor throughout the city. We would recommend it!
