Know More about this tour

No city in the world has a more colorful and sordid history than Los Angeles, and nowhere else have so many famous (and infamous) icons met their maker. Gain insight into the darker side of Hollywood on this afternoon tour departing from Sunset Boulevard. This gruesome but entertaining excursion is popular with both visitors and locals, and inspired the Eternal Darkness Tour episode on American Horror Story.

Your Director of Undertakings will guide you through decades' worth of death, murder and just plain fun. Once your tour, um . . . departs, hear tales of tinseltown tragedies in the cool comfort of your luxurious bus, aka the Tomb Buggy.

Cover more than 75 sites of interest in just 3hours. While the itinerary may change from day to day, here are some of the places and juicy stories you can expect to encounter:
  • The last-breath locations of Michael Jackson, River Phoenix, Whitney Houston and Bela Lugosi
  • The murders of Rebecca Schaeffer, Sal Mineo, Dominique Dunne and Bugsy Siegel
  • The hotels where Janis Joplin and John Belushi checked out
  • The scene of Sharon Tates last supper
  • The scandals of Halle Berry, Chris Brown and Rihanna, and Hugh Grant
During the tour, youre exposed to crime-scene photographs, 911 recordings and paperwork that the public-at-large normally dont get to see about their favorite celebrities.

Visit a small cemetery where Marilyn Monroe, Natalie Wood, Farah Fawcett, Hugh Hefner and other high-profile legends are buried. Walk through the stars final resting place and read their poignant and pithy epitaphs.

Your tour concludes back at the departure point. Spend some time browsing through the Dearly Departed Gallery. Check out unusual memorabilia connected to dead celebrities, including tiles from the pool where Rolling Stones drummer, Brian Jones, drowned, and Rock Hudsons Rolodex listing Elizabeth Taylors phone number, a piece of the Hindenburg and Jayne Mansfield's Death Car.

The guide was knowledgeable and had a lot of information about deaths in LA and we visited a lot of sights, but really driving past a building and saying someone died there really meant nothing. The cemetery visit was an anti- climax

Excellent job, learned lots and all done with a good sense of humour! It really filled you in on all the goings on in tinsel town over the years and reminded us about all the stars we watched and loved.

If you are in LA, this is a great tour to take. My teen daughter loves to read mysteries and thrillers, this was right up her alley! The tour guide was knowledgeable, professional, and funny! The tour van was clean and comfortable. We truly enjoyed the tour!

Great trip and full of amusing stories from our guide who was knew so many facts and was able to answer all sorts of obscure questions from the group.

This is my second time on the tour and I loved it the first time. Recommend to my mom and mother in law so I brought them and went again. One of the things that drew me towards the tour was the amount of respect you have for the dead. Some of these jokes made on the tour this time around were very much the opposite. Jokes at the dead’s expense was a bit distasteful, and I love a crued joke but these were not funny. With the amount of care and respect it takes to accumulate all these artifacts and history of real people who many have died horrible deaths you’d think the tour would reflect that respect. I still very much love this tour but I was disappointed this time around by the amount barrel scrapping for jokes
