Meet your guide at Chushojima Station and then set off on your 3-hour tour to explore Fushimi district, home to 37 sake breweries, one of Japans most famous sake-producing regions.

Take a short walk and visit the largest sake brewery in Fushimi district. Deepen your knowledge of the process of making sake that has been traditionally passed down from generation to generation. Sake is a result of a brewing process that uses rice and lots of water. Fushimi is also know for its good water and you'll be able to try some water that they actually use to produce sake in the brewery. At the end of brewery visit,Tastedifferent kinds of local sakes and enjoy chatting with friendly staff that are also happy to share the knowledge. Continue to a fun part at a local sake bar in the area and while trying tasting various kinds of sake - sweet, dry, fruity and one that never been exported, your guide will explain what makes the differences of flavor and taste of sake.

Tasting session lasts from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes but feel free to remain in the bar after the tour concludes.

  • If you cancel at least 8 calendar days in advance of the scheduled departure time, there is no cancellation fee. You will receive Full Refund for the paid amount.
