Know More about this tour

Your adventure begins after being picked up from local hotels and taken to a trailhead chosen by an experienced guide. Your guide will chose your route based off of current weather, seasonal and animal patterns. Some trails are within the boundaries of Denali National Park, others may be just outside, or completely off trail, following the footpaths of animals through their native habitat.

While not meant to be difficult, this 4.5-hour tour is for fit travelers since you'll be walking through often unimproved terrain. The extended time gives you a chance to see the forested area near the Nenana River, the brushy but wildlife-rich sub-alpine tundra, and the gorgeous views and the highly adapted vegetation of the alpine tundra.

So glad we had an opportunity to take a guided hike up Sugarloaf Mountain. Dana was amazing- very knowledgeable and fun. She had hiking poles for everyone to use which made it that much better. Views were incredible. Highly recommend!

Guide was awesome, off trail hikeup. He was very knowledgeable, patience and super sweet. Also gave us the best tip on a restaurant 229 Parks - outstanding!! Highly recommend both!

Had a great time hiking the Three Lakes Trail with Tyler. He knew all the stuff you'd expect from a guide--and so much more. I would go on, but, alas, all the mail and paperwork has piled up during our vacation, and we're hardly retired....

Kevin, our guide, was excellent. Clearly, he loves nature and having him as a guide to explain the flora and fauna made the hike we took of Triple Lakes a memorable experience. This is not a hike deep into the park, so don't expect to see Mt McKinley, but is one that gives you an understanding of what the area is about and is a good intro to what Denali can offer. We had only 2 days and our first day we hiked up Sugar Loaf which is a steep climb, but also very worthwhile.
