The 2,574-kilometre-long river (1,599 mi) arises in Zambia and flows through eastern Angola, along the north-eastern border of Namibia and the northern border of Botswana, then along the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe to Mozambique, where it crosses the country to empty into the Indian Ocean. The Zambezi's most noted feature is Victoria Falls.
This park consists of 40km of the Zambezi River frontage and a spread of wildlife, rich inland mopane forest and savanna. Zambezi National Park is conjoined with Victoria Falls National Park and both parks cover an area of 56 000 hectares. A wide variety of larger mammals may be found within the park. If you are lucky you might come across animals such as hippos, elephant, crocodiles, kudus as you cruise on the Zambezi River.

This is the second time I have done this trip which is amazing. The meal is really superb, presentation is amazing, we ate with full view of a lovely sunset surrounded by hippos and a couple of elephants in the background. If you go to S.A you must do this trip.

It was a good cuise, each table has a direct veiw of the river. The food and the drinks were fine and the staf is freindly. However our cruise started 20 min later then it shuld, because one of the guests was late for his pickup. They should sail at 05.00pm sharp it gets dark at 06.30pm. This is crusial because we had les time on the river to see the animals, before darkness . For me this was the highlight of the cruise, and I was disapointed to have less time to see the animals.

The Pure Africa dinner cruise was worth every penny! It started with unlimited drinks, an amazing 4 course dinner and wonderful service. This ended our trip in Africa and it was the perfect way to spend it on the river. The captain took the time to find the hippos and stopped to make sure everyone could see them! If you want the exclamation point to your trip, take this dinner cruise!
