Know More about this tour

Our Sedona Tours around and over the world famous red rocks of Sedona allow you to make the most of your stay while you're visiting Sedona. Nestled within red rock canyons and formations just below the Mogollon Rim, (southern edge of the Colorado Plateau) Sedona has been voted #1 of The 10 Most Beautiful Places in America. After millions of years of inland seas and lakes depositing their sediment, in combination with the raising of the Colorado Plateau, the stage was set for the erosion process that would form the world famous red rock canyons and formations for which Sedona, Arizona has come to be known.

On this 2.5 hour tour we will take you to the Airport overlook with its spectacular views of Thunder Mountain and Coffeepot Rock, you will spend time at the Chapel of the Holy Cross which was designed by Marguerite Brunswig Staude (a student of Frank Lloyd Wright). • We enjoyed the driver's knowledge about the area, but the promotion of local restaurants and shopping areas was over the top.
The van actually pulled into areas where we could dine and shop. It felt like a marketing tour rather than a scenic tour of the area.
Also, the driver did not exit the van with our group at each stop to explain exactly what we were seeing--exception would be
the chapel. We have taken a number of Viator Tours and this one was not up to our previous experiences.

  • This was our first Tour with Viator and we were very pleased. We saw so much in the 2 1/2 hours and it gave us ideas what to see on our first time stay in Sedona.

  • Sedona was gorgeous but we didn't have the greatest experience prior to starting the tour. We went to the wrong location and called for help. When we finally arrived at the correct spot we met Al, our tour guide. We were the only people on the van. Al didn't seem very enthusiastic, seemed like he was just going through a rehearsed speech. In fact he repeated himself a few times. We had the feeling he really didn't want to be there. He did stop at a few places to let us take pictures and did give us information but we just felt that he wasn't in it.

  • A lovely trip around Sedona, we got to see visit a number of places within the 2-3 hour trip and grateful to our guide Earl?? too. Had wonderful company as well...the group was amazing!

  • Nick was a real hunk

  • Good to get general overview of Sedona, I was without a car so it was useful. If you have your own vehicle, do not bother booking this, you can visit all spots/places by yourself and at your own pace.

  • The tour was the best part of our time in Sedona. Our guide Mario was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Mario had grown up in the area and freely shared his love of the land.

  • Out guide was excellent. He'd grown up near Sedona, and many personal interest and movie filming stories that enhanced the tout greatly.

  • The Driver gave us lots of info during the drive, maybe a bit over the top, but enjoyable.

  • The address information was impossible for me to find. Rather than just a street address it would have helped me immensely 1 had the location be visible from the main street, or 2 had the location be identified by adjacent businesses such as next to Chipotle across from the visitor center or 3 have the pick up at a closer and more accessible business to where I live. The arrangements for pick up are geared for the tourist staying at a hotel/motel/resort with no inclusion of local living individuals like myself. I had counted on taking this tour since getting here in June and as a consequence of poor and/or inadequate information, I lost my money spent for the tour and crushed my expectations. I cannot begin to tell you how disappointed I am. I will most likely try one of the local jeep tours, like Pink Jeep Tours, who are willing to put the customer first.
