My holiday was excellent Brazil and Argentina were fantastic and much safer than what I expected. I would have given 5 stars for this trip except that the Local Tour Company which Viator has directed me to - in my opinion and the way it appeared- was not a forma known company!!!
It was mainly one man show who picked us up in the airport in Buenos Aires in his private car and asked his friend to take us around Buenos Aires in his own car with no knowledge what so ever as a tour guide !!!! The local contract Viator directed us to even made us stay in a hotel in BA which was different than the one in the itinerary of Viator and which I have never stayed in a worse. I doubt it was a four star hotel for the following reasons:
1- it was full of mosquitos,
2- the ceiling was leaking on us in the middle of the night from rain
3- Breakfast was served underneath the stairs!!!With the money we paid , I would have expected a much better hotel if I can call this a hotel !!!!
Also he wanted to re-charge us on the parks entrance fees even when we told him that it was included in the payment as per the itinerary I received from Viator . He only backed off when I threatened that I will officially complain to Viator. I have emails on this regard
All tours in other cities were professional with a formal car and knowledgeable travel guide guanine travel agents. The hotels were fine and as per the itinerary.
I always travelled with Viator with no issues , please change your local contact you gave me for this trip...its not worth ruining your name.
