  • Although the area of the windmills and the Dulcinea home was very interesting, it is only a small part of the trip. We enjoyed the winery tour and tasting and the castle tour, but I would have left one out to actually drive some of the route in the Don Quixote novel. Our guide was a very attentive person. Sorry, I have forgotten her name. The lunch was very good.

  • very informative!! tout guide very knowledgeable

  • This is an amazing tour through Don Quijote's history!
Museu Cervantino, Casa de Dulcineia, great lunch in Mota del Cuervo, Molinos, everything great!

  • We loved La Mancha, history, the stop at the mill, and the wine tasting stop was also quite interesting! We even bought a couple of bottles something we usually avoid so we don't have to drag heavy bags back home. The guide however even though we requested an English speaking guide was a bit of a disappointment. She not only couldn't speak English but kept asking us how do you say this or that and she also could not answer other questions even in Spanish. A couple of answers she did give, she qualified them stating she didn't really know for sure but that was her opinion. I would definitely do this tour but avoid Kate English tour.

  • Even better than expected, and I expected a lot! This was a truly awe inspiring trip---from Madrid to La Mancha of Don Quijote.... A friend of mine advised me not to go on this trip cause he said it was a too intensive trip and journey... Thanks god I dind't listen to him cause it was completely the opposite!!!
Realizing that an extraordinary amount of work is done by the office and support staff, I still have to say that this trip would not be what it was without the guides, Clara and Jorge, going above and beyond what anyone could have expected. They have got to be among the best.
Thank you to the entire gang at Julia Travel!
