  • A marvellous day out of Seville with a fantastic guide who knew so much about the local wildlife and entertained us well with his knowledge. Donana is a not to miss part of a trip to Seville and Andalusia

  • I enjoyed the tour and it got me out of the city. We did not see much wildlife in the park. During the bird migration it would have been much better.

  • This was a really enjoyable tour travelling through incredible countryside Donana is spectacular. The variety of tress, and the coexistence of umbrella pines and cork oaks was, for me, a new and very illuminating experience. It was also very interesting to note the variety of horticulture and agriculture in the Natural Park next to the National Park. We also visited El Rocio - novel to say the least.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative.

I would suggest that this is perhaps not an appropriate trip for the 'tick box' individual as we didn't see an Iberian Lynx! Maybe these 'tourists' could camp out in a tree for a week or so....... and keep their fingers crossed.

  • Amazing experience thanks to a very knowledgeable and friendly guide - Abraham who holds a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science! After spending the morning in the national park walking through cork and umbrella pine forest, it was fantastic to get to the beach facing the Atlantic right when the sun was starting to get hot. If you like nature, beach, and want to do something different, off the beaten track - pick this tour!

  • This was a great trip. The guide was excellent, and we got to see all kinds of awesome wildlife.

  • Very enjoyable trip. First part was round wetland marshes which was good for spotting birds. Next rough and bumpy ride through pine forest with lovely scenery. After lunch stop we went to dunes for a short walk to see wild flowers and then to El Roccio - a fascinating old town like something out of a spaghetti western with sand streets and hitching posts outside the houses. A very varied and interesting experience.

  • This tour was a great success due, in large part, to our driver/guide, Sergio. His knowledge of flora and fauna is extensive and accurate and he is able to present it in a manner that is neither didactic nor patronizing. He went to some trouble to seek out animals, as their whereabouts are uncertain and they cannot be seen by appointment! Not only did our tour take us to Donana National Park, but we also visited the town of El Rocio and the magnificent sand dunes and beach at Matalascanas. All of the above made for a wonderful and memorable full day tour. The one drawback about this tour was the vehicle, which was a very old Land Rover Defender. It was uncomfortable, difficult to get into and out of for seniors, had poor visibility and a broken hand hold for the passenger behind the driver. We realize that a four- wheel drive vehicle, with low gear availability, is essential for such a trip but know that there are better options in today's market.

  • Great day out with excellent guides. Guide had really effective telescope but taking own binoculars or camera with telephoto lens really helps. Nice fellow travellers and guides.

  • The tour guide was good, but I felt bad for him trying to find all the animals because we barely saw any. We saw a couple of stork and some young foal playing and some flamingos, but that was about it. When we arrived at El Rocio, we saw some flamingos, but they looked like dots when I took pictures of them using my zoom lens. I had to take pictures through the binoculars which was a struggle. We already saw these animals back home in England, and to a larger degree too.

It was annoying as we had to sit in the back because we were the last people they picked up, and it was a VERY uncomfortable ride even with just 5 people, and if it hit the limit of 7 people, we would all be touching knees at the back of the 4x4. We were all sweaty because it was extremely hot, and it was a LONG ride. We were left in the back like shopping bags.

The tour guide was nice and knowledgeable, which is why I even gave you 2 stars in the first place - but the company is the problem. They need to fix their itinerary because we didn't pass one interesting place on our tour. I can't imagine someone seeing EVEN LESS than what we saw that day, so don't expect too much or you'll be disappointed. When we arrived at El Rocio at 10am, there was already a 4x4 full of tourists leaving. A 3 hour tour would've sufficed, but 10 hours was OVERKILL.

This was a waste of time and money,

  • This tour wasn't what I expected. The good things were the guide who was knowledgeable and friendly and spoke good English we stopped at a town for morning coffee that had an excellent leather shop and we all bought boots at a very reasonable price we saw some flamingoes we heard a cuckoo we saw a deer in the distance we saw young foals frolicking we visited a lovely beach. The bad things were the bone jarring ride to get to the town and lake along a sandy track and the lack of any other wildlife other than what I mentioned. It was a long uncomfortable ride in an old jeep for not much to see.
