  • What a lovely drive and every stop was a gem! The Downton Abbey Village is just a perfect spot for fans of the series. And Blenheim Palace and grounds are enormous and incredibly posh imagine what growing up or living there would have been like! The stories are ones to rival Downton Abbey or any work of fiction!

  • Fantastic tour, really enjoyed it!

  • A great day out of London. Our guide, Phil, was exceptionally entertaining and a fount of knowledge. Quoting statesmen and poets alike. While we are not huge Downtown Abbey fans, we really enjoyed the small village of Bampton and the peaceful church there. The Cotswolds are beautiful and Blenheim was so impressive. Highly recommend this tour for a day out of busy London. The coach was comfortable and the driver was amazing with his skills at maneuvering the bus!

  • Our guide was very informative and congenial. Would take this tour again. His explanation of the Palace and each place we stopped along the way was excellent.

  • Nice day out, it was wonderful.

  • Simon was a fantastic guide full of interesting info! Loved the castle but could have passed on the village. Too crowded and touristy

  • This trip is worth it based on Blenheim Palace alone, it is spectacular! The Cotswolds stop was too short, but I loved the storybook look of the area. I wanted more time to take some family photos there, but we did get some good shots. Seeing where they filmed Downton Abbey was cool, even my family enjoyed it and they didn't watch the show. Great value and I recommend this tour.

  • A full on day. We expected this but struggled with the shorter time to find suitable gluten free food for lunch at Burton on the water. The tour guide was a really good commentator on the bus. Appreciated Norma's knowledge and sense of humour. Loved the places we visited! Thanks

  • The bus station was ridiculously busy when we arrived and it was hard to see/hear where to line up. The Cotswolds towns were very good and the guide had lots of interesting commentary. Blenheim palace was amazing and we could have been there for much longer. It was handy that they gave you several drop off spots at the end of the day.

  • I went on this tour on the 12/7/17 and absolutely loved it. The Cotswolds were beautiful. Both Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water were charming, picturesque villages, each with different things to offer. Although I have not watched much of Downtown Abbey, it was still exciting to see where scenes are filmed in Bampton. Blenheim Palace was breathtaking. While you could probably spend hours there, the hour and a half allowed us to see the State Apartments and gardens in comfortable time. I felt we were given an appropriate time at each stop throughout the day and never felt rushed or like I was missing out on anything. The day was well planned and organized, with Evan Evans tours achieving a great balance between the time spent driving and at stops. Our tour guide, Sheila, was also very friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. She is a real asset to the company. Overall, I had an excellent day and thoroughly enjoyed each stop. I would highly recommend this tour.
