Visited 4 restaurants and ate a ton of food. We went to Hooked Seafood, Poogans Smokehouse, Hot Little Biscuits and Kaminsky's Dessert Café. Dale was super! She knew the history of the area and kept us engaged will her story telling. Great time!

Our guide was Dustin - a very agreeable pairing of Mary Louise Parker and Ronan Farrow: smart, sly and attention-grabbing. We learned things we didn’t know we needed to know, sampled comestibles we’d scarcely heard of and made new friends - all at once. Highly recommend

Very nice tour. Our guide was a treat. I believe her name was Mimi. We toured the French Quarter area where we had not walked around before this tour. There is so much to see in Charleston and we found this tour to be a wonderful way to see the City with a very nice group of people.

We had a wonderful late afternoon experience. Dana was awesome. We would highly recommend this tour. The food was great and we learned a lot too!! Our 18 year old son wasn't thinking he would enjoy it but he really did!

Mimmi (tour guide) was excellent. She knows restaurants, food, and Charleston history. Very helpful with a guest who had had recent surgery.

Enjoyed immensely. Dustin was great .The dining venues were good . Callies HLB was fantastic. You need to make sure you let people know the distances to be walked. You need a selection for cruisers coming off the ship. I didn't know sort of visit to pick

One of the highlights of our trip to Charleston. Hoon Calhoun gave us a glimpse into the history of the food while taking us to some really top notch places. The food was awesome. We already want to visit the restaurants for a full meal.

  • 08-Oct-2019

We thoroughly enjoyed the food at each dining establishment. There was a variety of food and each restaurant provided a different and unique type of food associated with the area. Our guide, Hoon was excellent with lots of added information about the area. High recommend this tour and tour guide.
