Meet in front of the Calgary Tower to begin your tour. From there, youll be directed to your driver/guide and vehicle for the day. Each vehicle is air conditioned and has large viewing windows so you can see all of the amazing sites in Drumheller and The Badlands. Wi-Fi is available to all guests.
Stop and enjoy Horseshoe Canyon, walk among the Hoodoos, and enjoy an Underground Tunnel or Tipple Tour* (a structure used to load product for transport) at the Atlas Coal Mine. Next, walk on the old Suspension Bridge that many a miner has crossed! And of course there are the dinosaurs! Please arrive at the base of the Calgary Tower by the blue City Centre Information sign 10 minutes prior to departure time.
Seating is limited to the first 12 passengers.
Tour availability based on schedule provided by the Atlas Coal Mine. Due to time/staff constraints, some options may become unavailable.
Be aware that this tour requires you to bring comfortable, sturdy shoes suitable for the amount of walking you will be doing on the tour. Closed-toed shoes are advised, specifically for your time at the Atlas Coal Mine. Check on the weather in advance and dress appropriately to guard yourself from the sun or in case of bad weather.
