  • This tour was great, lots of different things to see and of course the Burj is the highlight even for those who don’t like heights you can’t even feel the lift. The only thing I would say is if you struggle with the heat the Souks are very hot to walk around and saw a few people faint..

  • We enjoyed seeing things in Dubai in a day, but the tour started by picking us up late due to traffic, which prevented us from going into the mosque and several other visits being rushed. When questioned about the lateness, the guide got defensive and asked if the traffic was his fault. If you only have a day and want to get a glimpse of some of the more popular things to see in Dubai, this is for you. It's not a leisure pace and much depends on your 'tourmates' being back to the bus on time.

  • The tourist guide pick up was 15 minutes early. His name is Farthy, a very knowledgeable guy with local highlights and history. There is a lot of tour contents packed into 1 day but he and the driver did their best to control the group of 21 tourists and time scheduling.
Everything was good except perhaps we only allowed 1 hour to visit the Burj Halifa after the ticket was given to us. The reality is there are too many tourists packed at the tower, the queuing to go up took Neale 1/2 hrs and 25 minutes queuing to come down by the fast lifts. That leaves 15 minutes for viewing at the top viewing floors and that already incurred a 10 minutes in excess over the 1 hrs allocated time prior to the luncheon.
The lunch was surprisingly good in a comfortable restaurant inside the mall.
All in all quite happy with the tour.

  • We could see all the interesting places. The lunch was excelent!

  • Great day!

  • This tour was extremely disappointing. So many items listed on the itinerary were not met and the guide was terrible. He told us nothing of Dubais culture or history. It seemed as though he was telling us things simply as we drove past them. Eg we drove past a flag so he told us about the flag which we heard abut multiple times as we drove past multiple flags.

    Our trip break down
A visit to Al Bastakiya, the citys oldest quarter.
    we didnt go here.

Visit the Dubai Museum, housed inside the 18th-century Al Fahidi fort.
    we didnt go here.

Jumeirah Mosque, one of Dubais must-sees.
    we didnt go here.

Instead, we drove to a completely different mosque
Bora Mosque, 51,Al Suffaar Street - I had to look this up as like I said, he didnt tell us anything about the places we DID go to.
This mosque was twenty minutes drive rom the Jumeirah Mosque.
After this we crossed the road to an Art Gallery where we were all hustled inside and presented with all sorts of art works we could buy. We couldnt leave for ten minutes all the while being hustled to buy something. It was the biggest scam.

Take a scenic abra ride across Dubai Creek to Deiras souks. Absorb the exotic aromas and colors of the Spice Souk and then dive intothe Gold Souk
We DID do this, the abra ride being the most genuine thing we did all day. At the spice souks we were told nothing of the history/culture of the building/the merchants, instead again hustled into another shop and present with another scam/products to buy. At least this time we were allow to leave when we liked. The gold souks we could walk around not hustled into a room, but again, no information passed on prior about the history/culture.

Stop forphotos of the sail-shaped Burj Al-Arabhotel.
We DID this at the security gate though cant complain seeing as we actually did it.

The best part of the tour was lunch and heading to the top of the Burj Khalifa, both of which we did on our own, without the guide.

My advice would be to either tour with another company or just go on your own. We were extremely disappointed in our tour and felt we wasted an entire days travel time and expenses that we could of made better use of.

  • Wonderful day! Tour guide picked us up exactly on time at the JW Marriott hotel. Very nice guide. He kept the tour interesting and we never felt rushed. We had a very good lunch and had plenty of time at the Burj Khalifa. Would highly recommend.

  • This was an excellent tour for a short term stopover in Dubai. Our tour guide, Mohammed was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed the tour very much. Thoroughly recommended.

  • Overall this tour accomplished what we were looking for on our first trip to Dubai. We had a very personable, knowledgeable guide, Ibrahim, the entire day.
Please be aware, that even though the tour description mentions the Dubai Fountains, you may not have time to actually see them. We were so lucky that we were able to visit the area the night before and actually saw the fountain shows. Also the visits to the spice and gold souks are not long enough to go shopping. We had more time at the spice market and no time at all at the gold souk so if you want to actually buy something at the gold souk, plan on going back on your own.

  • Good but not great. We were upset with our driver as he dropped us off at a Marina instead of at the hotel where we were picked up, and were told it was closer and would cost us less to go back to our own hotel, when in fact it was 40.00 more.
