Know More about this tour

Mt Srd Cable Car Ride (1 hour):
Meet your guide in Pile Square, and then hop inside for your ride to the top of Mt Srd, the 1,352-foot (412-meter) mountain that towers over the city. After roughly three minutes inside the cable car, arrive at the summit and gaze out at the vista of Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast sprawled out at your feet. Have your camera ready; many say that on a clear day, you can see sights up to 37 miles (67km) away.

After admiring the views at Mt Srds peak for 20 minute with your guide and learning about the sights, return to Dubrovnik by cable car.

Dubrovnik Old Town and City Walls Tour (3.5 hours):
Meet your guide at Pile Square, and then set off on your walking tour of the Old Town. Home to most of the citys finest attractions, the neighborhood boasts culture and history in plentiful measures. See the circular Onofrio's Fountain with its huge central dome, and amble past the Franciscan monastery, where a copy of Michelangelos La Piet sculpture is housed.

Continue walking to Sponza Palace, an attractive building thats widely considered the Dubrovniks Renaissance crown. Housing Croatias extensive state archives, Sponza Palace was once Dubrovniks most opulent palatial building. Other highlights on your walking tour include Orlando's Column, the city bell tower, Rectors Palace and the Church of St Blaise, a pretty place of worship dedicated to the citys patron saint.

Walk across the main square to see the Baroque Cathedral of the Assumption, which was rebuilt in the 18th century after an earthquake, and then wander over to Dubrovniks city walls a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Walk with your guide along the walls while learning about their history. Parts of the walls date back to the 13th century when the city began to gain prominence as one of the most important sea powers in the Mediterranean. Look out for Mineta Tower, St Johns Fortress, Fort Bokar plus Dubrovnik Aquarium and Maritime Museum.

After walking the length of the city walls, stroll back to the start point at Pile Square where your tour finishes.

  • Dubrovnik is a lovely country a must see. People are so friendly. Beautiful beach/ocean unpolluted and yummy seafood all so fresh such as
    oysters, mussels,fish, prawns squid etc...

  • This was wonderful! It was cold and rainy when we started out but our tour guide and fellow tour group members made the best of it. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot of history. This is not a handicapped accessible tour . Lots of walking, climbing
Stairs and descending narrow pathways . The view is spectacular! Thankfully the sun came out!

  • An excellent excursion... so pleased we did the walk. Even had time to stop in one of the squares for a drink and quick bite to eat! Brilliant value: great fun! Stunning views too!

  • Good tour.

  • We loved the Dubrovnik Mt Srd Cable Car Ride plus old Town and City Walls Walking Tour and our guide Victor was amazing. His knowledge which he imparted to us during the tour was really interesting and we came away knowing so much more about Dubrovnik and its history. So thanks to Victor and thanks to Viator for a truly memorable city tour.

  • DH and I will never regret doing this tour. It was a bigger group than I expected over 20 people but it was well organized. You need to be able to walk to get to the cable car. Wear comfortable shoes - take water with you - You will see beautiful views on ride up and on top.

  • Great combination tour! Andrea was very knowledgeable and nice! Learned all kinds of things about Dubrovnik, etc. It was pretty hot even though it was in mid October. You'll be walking a lot so be prepared. I also enjoyed talking with the other travelers because I was alone. igly recommend this tour.

  • Our first day in Dubrovnik! Thought this tour would be good as an intro to the city. Met our guide ontime and our group walked to the cable car. Not too busy so that was nice. At the top our guide a young university fellow pointed out many sights and answered visitors questions. The sky was getting quite dark and we saw some flashes of lightning. As a result when we got down the mt. the cable ride had been closed. Walking back into the city we toured around and visited a few buildings and then the rain came! We stopped at a cafe for a bit to see if the rain would stop, it did briefly, we carried on but then it poured and was not going to let up!! It was an experience to be in the old city seeing the rain pouring down and running thru the city streets and every staircase was a waterfall! People just gave up and wandered thru the streets soaking wet! Crowds were gone!! Our tour ended, no walking allowed on the city walls during this rain fall so we were given vouchers to come back again and do the wall ourselves. A disappointment only because we could have learned so much from our guide about the history. The city has no plaques in place for people to readat least what we saw and so we came away from Dubrovnik not knowing much about that place! The views from the wall were beautiful! Our guide was helpful and friendly but during our 6 day stay in Dubrovnik we encountered rather unfriendly people in the city store employtees and restaurant servers also at grocery store the people were not happy....we think they must of had enough of tourists!! I would recommend this tour ...... the crowds you can't help so maybe early on In Tourist season go and enjoy!

  • We arrived in Dubrovnik from Canada the day before we took the tour. Although a bit jet-lagged, it was an amazing 4 and1/2 hour tour of medieval Dubrovnik. Lydia , our guide, was a great historian and excellent speaker. The ride on the cable car gave a good view of Dubrovnik, old town and the country beyond into Bosnia. Walking through the old town with all its history and then the grand finale, walking the city walls could not be surpassed. It should be noted walking the city walls, especially on a hot day, is quite a physical feat.

  • We met in town and was easy to find. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledge
