Know More about this tour

Start your journey into history with a visit to the ancient city of Aspendos. It is situated 50 km east of Antalya on the banks of Kpray river (ancient name Euromydon). Aspendos was one of the most important cities in Pamphylia, its cultural and economic center. Now it is a very popular tourist sight famous for the Roman amphitheatre built in 155 AD by the architect Zenon during the reign of Marcus Aurelius. Theatre of Aspendos is one of the best preserved examples of Roman theatre architecture in the world. Walk up steps of the theater's tiered seating area, admire all the beauty of its galleries and stage decorations. With a capacity up to 15,000 people, amphitheatre is still in use for important cultural events and festivals. Every summer it hosts the annual Aspendos International Opera and Ballet Festival. The world-famous Turkish dance group Fire of Anatolia presents a new program Aspendos Efsanesi (meaning Legend of Aspendos) on the stage of the ancient theatre from May till November. So do not miss the opportunity to visit this gorgeous amphitheatre to fully appreciate its grandeur and undeniable historical value.

Then drive in the direction of Antalya to visit an amazingly beautiful green park with Duden Waterfalls. It is one of the most visited natural attractions in Antalya region. Enjoy your time in the green environment, fresh air and pine scent, cool atmosphere and spectacular waterfalls. This park is especially pleasant to visit during hot summer days. The way to waterfall requires going down some stairs. Admire an incredible beauty of the turquoise water cascading from the height of 20meters. Duden Waterfalls arevery spectacular. Do not leave this place without visiting a cave and taking a picture behind the water flow. Then enjoy walking along the river with turquoise waters still listening the sounds of the falling water. The waterfalls you are going to visit are Upper Duden Waterfalls. The Lower Duden Falls cascade over the 40 meters highrock platform directly into the Mediterranean sea. It can be seen during a boat trip along the coast of Antalya.

After lunch go to explore the ancient ruins of Side. This spectacular city is situated on a peninsula about 1 km long and 400 m across. Side is a city with long and rich past, as testified by the numerous ruins from the Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantine eras. What can be seen while walking through the ancient city: nymphaeum (fontain), remains of city walls, agora, amphitheatre, colonnaded streets with many of the marble columns, city gates, ruins of the Roman bath, basilica and three temples.

A FUIR !!!!

We had a great time, our guide even added on a few stops not included in the itinerary (Turkish delight tasting). Altogether very good value for money, would recommend.

The Duden waterfalls is an amazing place. A hidden treasure of Antalya. Our tour guide Ibrahim was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience unforgettable. Apart from the waterfall there are loads of little shops and cafes. Definitely not to be missed if you are heading this way. We also visited Side, which is a beautiful with the ruins of the Temple of Apollo, which as impressive now, as a it was no doubt in 2BC, when it was built. Ibrahim of Tourmania is an excellent guide and he made sure we were comfortable and entertained at all times. I think for me the sweetest moment was when he presented all the ladies on the tour with beautiful red flowers. The day was over too quick.

The guided tour was excellent because Betty and Alex were perfect tour guides. Betty has explained nearly everything and has a big knowledge about the Roman time. It was not just a tour, it was explained history. We definitely would book another tour with her. Thanks from our site for the tour.

Good tour with a lot of historical facts about the region. There's so much history, which you wouldn't even think at first! Manavgat waterfalls was a real highlight after a long day in the sun learning about history, where you can just enjoy the view and the nature. Would recommend, especially if you like history.

Ich würde die Tour 100% nochmal machen, es war ein guter Tagesausflug mit vielen Erinnerungen!! Jeder der etwas von Side und Alanya sehen möchte, sollte auf jeden Fall diese Tour buchen!

This picture was not of the waterfall we saw. We booked because of this photo thinking we would see this waterfall...instead they took us to a small man made waterfall only 2 meters tall. Also, the bus broke down and while we understand things can happen they took us and dropped us off at amphitheater site and just had us walk around ourselves without a guide. Why did we pay for a guided service? This wouldn’t have been so bad but the waterfall misleading photo at the end of the trip after a long day was ridiculous. Would not recommend unless you understand the waterfall at the end is a joke and is not anything like what is pictured.
