  • One of the best one day tours we've been on! Our tour operator Pieter made it even more special. He had so much knowledge of the area and a good sense of humor as well. Must say we enjoyed the cheese tasting the most.

  • Awesome tour!

  • I really enjoyed our day trip from Amsterdam. The Netherlands quite easy to travel by train, but going by bus I felt that we had the opportunity to go a bit slower and enjoy the scenic country side. There was also an opportunity to see how clogs are made and get a preview of dutch culture by sampling cheese and waffles. I think both the cheese and waffles can be purchased more cheaply elsewhere. That said, the tour guide was very good and quite professional. I would recommend this tour to anyone!

  • We went on this experience on Saturday 23 December. We had Pieter as our guide who was very knowledgeable and kept us up to date wherever we were. We also enjoyed his sense of humour. Even the driver Bert?? was very cordial and cooperative.

It was very interesting to visit the countryside at winter time and really enjoyed the windmill experience, lovely village. Imagine how lovely it would be in spring and summer time....something to think about. Very nice memories. Thank you.

  • Love the pretty villages and the whole tour.

  • This was the highlight of our 8 day European holiday!! Our guide Peter did an outstanding job. He kept us engaged the entire time, provided us with a lot of information/history with his great wit and sense of humor. Highly recommend this tour!

  • This was such an amazing tour! Pieter was our wonderful guide - he oozed passion for The Netherlands and all of its glory! This was a fun tour of The Netherlands countryside. The day consisted of seeing the Windmills and learning about how they are used, meeting a wooden shoe maker and watching how clogs are made, stopping at a cheese shop for a lesson in cheese, and then the waffle shop to see how stroopwafels are made. Lunch, wine, cheese, wafels - history - and an amazingly beautiful landscape. This was a fantastic tour!

  • The tour was fantastic and I was able to cross a few more things off my Bucket List. The tour guide, Pieter, was pleasant to the large group, but could not be bothered with me when I tried to speak with him individually giving up after three attempts. An unfriendly stranger did not detour me from enjoying myself. The description stated that coffee and a pastry was included, but I guess those were exchanged for a glass of wine while cheese tasting fair trade, in my opinion. The trip will tucker you out in a good way!

  • Windmills were charming, cheese and waffles were delicious, clogs were cool. We have a lovely day and it was just what I wanted for Netherlands without the city. My one note is I wish the trip explored a little more of south Netherlands since I felt like we saw a lot of the same small town/region and would like to see some contrast.

  • It was a good way to explore new areas in Netherlands
