  • We enjoyed this Viator excursion arranged through Mayaland Tours. The Dzibilchaltun site is very interesting with its raised roadway sacbe, Temple of the 7 Dolls, pyramids, ruins of houses etc. Good signage provided by the federal Institute of Anthropology and History. The cenote there is beautiful with its crystal clear water and water lilies. Some of our group went swimming there. We would like to have spent more time at this site. But we were driven to Progresso where we sat on the beach for several hours and were able to order food from a restaurant across the street. We would have been happy to spend less time at Progresso.

  • This was a very interesting and informative tour. Our guide spoke very good English and devoted equal time to both English and Spanish narration. I paid for a tour that included lunch thru Viator, however the local tour company said I would have to pay for my own lunch.
