Overview

Enjoy a dining experience in a universally recognized icon : the Eiffel Tower , and the well-know Alain Ducasse One Michelin Star restaurant: Le Jules Verne.

Located at the second level of the Eiffel Tower, Le Jules Verne offers a contemporary cuisine, reuniting all the basics of classic French cuisine. Created from a rigorous selection of quality ingredients from our regions, it reflects the quest of excellence dear to Alain Ducasse. Beyond the spectacular view upon Paris, the elegant space created by interior designer Patrick Jouin, is an invitation to the dream. In daytime, natural light pours throughout the restaurant. In the evening, the atmosphere becomes more muted, more sensual.

Know More about this tour

The service is in perfect tune with the restaurant, under the direction of Maxime Maze, guests are received right at the esplanade by the South Pillar, where the private lift whisks them away to the restaurant 125 metres above. Le Jules Verne offers a one-of-a-kind experience. Not only does it still boast the most beautiful view over Paris, but now it also lays claim to one of the most intimate and inviting dining rooms in the city, playing with the natural light of day and the city lights at night. Le Jules Verne is the essence of Parisian elegance today – steeped in tradition, extremely open-minded and exceedingly generous.

Le Jules Verne’s unique location on the second level of the Eiffel Tower, with a breathtaking view over Paris, makes it the Parisian venue par excellence. The restaurant’s cuisine and service uses this basic principle as a base, reinterpreted with a contemporary twist. Pascal Féraud, Eric Azoug – the chefs at Le Jules Verne – and Alain Ducasse created a decidedly French menu with a contemporary focus, reuniting all the basics of classic French cuisine: rigorously selected quality ingredients combined with exacting preparation and cooking techniques. This is cuisine without artifice: each flavour is meant to be clearly discerned in recipes that seek to delight guests, not impress them. Generous, accessible cuisine with the sole aim to please – and is that not what it’s all about? A cuisine that wants to reacquaint the French with the incomparable talent of their culinary heritage and extends an open invitation to visitors from around the world to come discover it.

In the same vein, the wine list at Le Jules Verne, created by Gérard Margeon, chef sommelier of Alain Ducasse Restaurants, features a selection of the finest French wines from the country’s greatest regions, with long-standing names sharing the limelight with young winegrowers who symbolise the dynamic nature of contemporary French wine-making.

Le Jules Verne is the accomplishment of an incredible adventure. A real challenge due to the highly symbolic nature of the venue, but also for very concrete reasons: space on the second level of the Eiffel Tower is limited, and the weight of all the materials and equipment used had to be monitored with painstaking exactness, not to mention the safety constraints involved. Renovation works also took environmental issues into account, all within a tight 120-day schedule.

  • We were expecting a really big WOW, we were seated opposite of the sunset side asked to be moved over there and they said this is the side they book Viator and we can walk over to look at sunset when it happens, it was just a nice experience but way over priced for 500 a person. Food was just ok, nothing really wow about that either. We book through this site so we would be guaranteed a window but the view is just as great second row back. Also if you book direct 3 months out you don't have to buy the highest package with all the wine pairing.

  • My husband and I had this dinner for our anniversary while visiting Paris. We are real foodies and this meal was definitely in our top 10!! The view was spectacular, the food was amazing and the service was second to none! It is expensive but for a once-in-a-lifetime experience, it was worth every penny!!!!!

  • I had lunch at this restaurant. It has a one star Michelin rating. I requested a window seat. The restaurant is located on the second level of the Eiffel Tower. Access is by a dedicated lift at the bottom of the tower. The seat I was given was by the window as requested. It was right in the corner which still allowed me to enjoy the view. The standard of service was the best I have ever had. The menu was imaginative and the food delicious. The wine pairings were excellent. This is not a cheap option. However, for me, the combination of location, standard of service and quality of food and wine made this a unique and truely unforgettable experience. Very worthwhile.

  • This was amazing, expensive but totally wroth the experience. The view is spectacular and our booking gave us a window seat, the setting and the environs is lovely. The service right from the start is excellent, from the access and lift ride at the beginning to the seating and meal service. They are there to make sure your experience is total. The food was delicious, there was not a morsel which was not enjoyed, some were better than others as you may expect, but what you would expect from such a class restaurant. We were seated beside some interesting people from Brazil which just made for even more enjoyment although that was more by chance than booking.
An experience we can happily recommend.

  • Class and yum all in one

  • AMAZING!! My granddaughter and I had a beautiful and most memorable lunch experience at Le Jules Verne. This was the culmination of a 3 week European adventure. The food and service was second to none...a must-do when in Paris!

  • Most wonderful experience. Our table was next to a window, best seats in the room. The food was the best meal we had while in Paris, the service was amazing, and the wine was personally selected to go with each course, I would definitely do it again on my next visit. The staff even presented us with a bag of gifts before we left courtesy of Viator. Great experience !

  • Booked this tour to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and we were not disappointed. The food and service were wonderful and everyone took the time to wish my daughter a happy birthday and make her feel special. Especially nice to be guaranteed a table by the window to enjoy the spectacular views.

  • Expensive but worth the price for a once in a life time experience. Excellent food with great wine pairings. Must go through security for Tower access and then again for the restaurant elevator. Don't go too early as gate to restaurant access is not open until 15 or 20 minutes before restaurant opening time a line forms for this but I think table location is based on when made rather than order in line. Suggest going to Trocadero Metro station or access to tower rather than to usually suggested ones which is directly across the river from the tower giving the best views of the tower and may involve less line changes. If t the restaurant for dinner the views of the illuminated Tower after dark from the Trocadero should not be missed.

  • ALL ASPECTS OF THE STAFF FROM THE COAT CHECK TO THE CHEF WERE ABOVE AND BEYOND EXPECTATIONS. THE TASTING MENU WENT FAR BEYOND ANYONE'S PALETTE. A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE FOR A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES.
THE SPECTACULAR VIEW IS A GIVEN.
