Overview
Dare to do a minitrekking in the Perito Moreno Glacier! I lived the experience of walking on the glacier.This unmissable experience begins in the Bajo de las sombras port, within the Los Glaciares National Park.
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and you will be able to enjoy the ice formations; learn about the flora, fauna and glaciology of the region; and, especially, on the phenomenon of rupture of the glacier.
Being a moderate walk, on an irregular but firm surface, it can only be done by people between 08 and 65 years old, due to its physical demands. Neither can pregnant women or people with reduced mobility, arthritis, prostheses, knee problems, meniscus problems, overweight people, or people with heart problems.
Itinerary:
This unmissable experience begins in the “Bajo de las sombras” port, within the Los Glaciares National Park. There you will take a boat to cross the Brazo Rico, to the west coast. Once you have crossed, the guides will receive you to give you some details of the activity. In the refuge that is located there, you will be able to leave some of your belongings, as well as make use of the bathrooms. Groups of up to 20 people will be formed, to make a 20-minute walk to the glacier and, once with the crampons on, the ascent to the ice begins. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours and you will be able to enjoy the ice formations; learn about the flora, fauna and glaciology of the region; and, especially, on the phenomenon of rupture of the glacier.

Conhecer a Patagônia era um sonho de viagem e fazer o minitrekking no Perito Moreno fazia parte dele, tanto que foi o ÚNICO passeio que fiz questão de comprar ainda aqui no Brasil. A experiência é excelente. Vale cada centavo investido. A minha avaliação é razoável apenas pela postura de dois guias durante o passeio. Inicialmente, eles perguntam se você prefere fazer o passeio em espanhol ou em inglês. Eu e meu marido pedimos para fazer em espanhol. Ainda no início, antes de colocar os grampones nos pés, nosso guia simplesmente nos mandou acompanhar o grupo da frente sem nos dar maiores explicações. Para nossa desagradável surpresa, o guia falava apenas em inglês. Daí acabamos tendo que acompanhar o tour em inglês, mas gentilmente o guia acabava falando em espanhol por nossa causa. Após a colocação dos grampones e no início da caminhada na geleira, eu apresentei um pouco de dificuldade em caminhar no gelo, uma vez que nunca havia feito isso na vida. Daí um dos guias que nos acompanhava, de nome Luís, virou-se para mim e disse textualmente: "Se você não é capaz de fazer a caminhada de maneira adequada, é melhor que fique por aqui, pois temos uma hora e meia para isso e pelo jeito, você não dará conta". Esse comentário me chateou extremamente. Como assim "fique por aqui"? Fiz muitos passeios em El Calafate, Ushuaia, El Chalten (inclusive laguna de Los três), alguns com guia e outros sem e nenhum deles foi tão desagradável e intolerante comigo. Mesmo eu tendo dificuldades em trilhas, TODOS os guias, de TODOS os passeios me ajudaram e foram solícitos comigo, só mesmo este senhor que agiu dessa forma. Apesar desse ocorrido, o passeio transcorreu sem problemas e ainda assim, recomendo que façam, pois a caminhada e beber Whisky com gelo do glacial é uma experiência imperdível e que todos que vão a essa região podem fazer. Minha nota é razoável apenas por conta desse comentário.

Amei. Guias muito bons. Foi tranquilo mas requer minimamente disposição e autonomia, pois Há algum trechos estreitos e algumas subidas e descidas do., mesmo no mini trekking. É lindo demais. Ao final, uísque com gelo do glaciar e bombons.

Me cancelaron el tour de última hora después de comprar el vuelo desde Buenos Aires, ahora estamos a la espera de la cancelación por parte del operador para recibir el reembolso

La experiencia increíble pero 16 mil pesos para caminar sobre el glaciar me parece híper caro y una locura. Tienen que bajar los precios para la mayoría de las personas puedan tener esta oportunidad de hacerlo. No te ofrecen ningún servicio más que acompañarte en el camino. No concuerda el precio con la experiencia.

We booked and paid 800 euros. Confirmed and paid the website said. They sent us an email where to pick us up and we replied within 30 min. Suddenly an email came at the end of the day that for 1 of us an overbooking was and that he had to go the day after. Since we were only were there for 1 day we explained that that was no option! At 7.00 the next day nobody came to pick us up. Several attempts were made to contact the Buenos Aires office and itself. No booking was Visible at hielo y adventure which organised the tour for , who were extremely helpfull. Viator left us down and they sent an email at 9.00, 2 hours after pickup that the tour was overbooked and no space for us! WHAT A SHAMEFULL EXPERIENCE AND NEVER AGAIN THE UNTRUSTWORTHY VIATOR AGAIN.........

It was amazing! The tour was well organized, the guides super nice. We walked for 90 minutes as promised and really far inserier the glacier. Always time for fotos and in the end there was a surprise! All in all for this prize a good way to spend his day! Almost 9 hours and nothing to worry about! I can definitely recommend this tour!
