This tour includes the entrance to the Valley and the visit inside the Basilica.

  • I love Madrid and Spain! However, I did not enjoy this tour because of the way it was organised and handled.

    1. The pick up was meant to be at 8am but only came around 8.45am
    2. The tour was done in both Spanish/English and I felt that because it was done in 2 languages, the guide was unable to provide an in-depth explanation to the sites we visited Such a pity cos we were in such beautiful sites with so much history
    3. After the El Escorial Monastery and Valley of the Fallen, we thought we were going to continue on for the City Tour. The bus stopped and asked us to get off and some of the guests went to Toledo. We were not told where to go/what to do.

When we asked the guide, she said she was not informed that there was a city tour and asked us to go to the travel office ourselves.

Because we did not know where the office was, we just went and did out own city tour.

Do hope Viator and this company will improve their services for other customers in the future.

  • Being my picked up at the hotel lobby was a plus. I tour to the monastery and valley of the fallen was good- would recommend it. However at the end of the trip I was told that I was the only one for the sightseeing part of the tour and they asked if I could go the next morning, I agreed. But discovered in the morning the group I was traveling with had made other plans. I had to cancel the sightseeing tour and lost that payment.

  • The Monastry was simply breathtaking inside out. We walked through it with our guide, admiring the beauty and and stories behind it.
As for the Sightseeing City Tour, I didn't expect it to be done on the bus, just a few stops for us to snap some memories. HOWEVER, due to the scorching weather, this was the perfect arrangement. Lots of places within 2 hours. My mum was absolutely delighted.

  • This tour was great.
