PLEASE READ CAREFULLY FOR ALL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITATIONS FOR THIS TOUR After arriving to Ceiba, your initial hike will start off as pure adventure. You will cross a river (sometimes water can reach to waist height), and an approximate 30-minute journey on a dirt/rock path, and muddy terrain. This trail is surrounded by bamboo trees, rain-forest flowers, and many other beautiful plants. After the hike you will enjoy mostly from the water activities. First visit a river and collecting pool that forms at the base of a waterfall. Take the time here and cool off on it's refreshing waters. We will then proceed to do another hike and rock climb in order to visit more natural pools (more strenuous part). Here you will have the opportunity to cliff jump into the pools, swing from a rope or go down the natural water slides (these are optional, but once you climb the rock to jump you must complete the activity). We will then return hiking thru the same path we arrived. After the tour ends we will stop at a local restaurant for a late lunch (food cost not included), before returning to San Juan or your initial meeting point. This stop tends to take 1 to 1.5 hours.

Great trip all around. Would definitely recommend. Well worth the price. Everything went smoothly, our guide was great, and the experience was fantastic.

Super fun excursion! Our guide Adrianna was amazing! You can tell she loves her job and nature so much. She’s also very knowledgeable. Just a warning, as I didn’t feel this was stressed enough prior to going- you NEED to be somewhat in shape (and probably young) to complete this excursion. It is an intense workout and a lot of hiking up and down slippery slopes. I wouldn’t wear anything but sneakers or maybe even hiking shoes. Be prepared to get dirty, but you’ll take a nice refreshing rinse in the water!

Phenomenal experience! Frankie was a blast and you can tell he loves what he does. The scenery was stunning and I had a blast. I would not recommend this for someone who isn’t capable of climbing rocks or is afraid of doing so. For everyone else you will have an amazing day that you won’t soon forget. Highly recommend!!

We had a wonderful time exploring El Yunque. Our guide Adrianna was amazing. She always made sure that everyone felt safe and comfortable each step of the way. It was beautiful to see her connection and reverence toward the trees, water, and life of the rainforest. Overall the day was very well organized, fun, and a good mixture of relaxation and challenge.

Our family family of 4 ( a 17 yo and an 11 yo) tour a wonderful tour today with Adrianna and Elias! It was an amazing day filled with adventure and beautiful sights! Safety was paramount and I’m glad they required life vests and helmets. I observed several other tour groups today and after seeing how they operate I was glad we went with Bespoke! Thanks for fabulous memories!

The most memorable part of the day was the clean rainforest water. Also, Adriana our guide was incredible!! She loves the rainforest and it’s beautiful to see.

  • 29-Jul-2023

Adrianna was the most amazing tour guide! She was kind, witty, and informative. One in our group was more adventurous and the other more cautious and she made it a fun day for both. Seriously one of the best tours we have been on anywhere. Mitchell was a great helper on the hike and cameraman. I would recommend water shoes with grips or hiking sandals with a covered toe as opposed to hiking boots. Your feet will be wet and you wear shoes the entire hike, doing the water slide and/or cliff jumps. And just wear your swimsuit and safety gear, don’t plan on carrying a pack at all.

Jason was an amazing tour guide! He’s so full of energy and knowledgeable and was SO kind to share photos with everyone after the tour so we didn’t have to worry about bringing our phones! The swimming area is a bit crowded, but that’s to be expected on a group tour. The food we stopped for at the end of the tour was also AMAZING. Best empanadas I’ve ever had.

This was by far the best part of our trip to PR! Our entire day was filled with so much excitement, fun and beautiful scenery. We were picked up from our hotel in Miramar, stopped for a quick restroom and breakfast break then headed to El Yunque. Our guide George was the BEST but let's not forget about our driver Elias either! The entire team made sure we had the necessary gear (helmets, life jackets and water) and gave us detailed information on what to expect. Only carry what you want to get muddy and wet in because you will get submerged in water! Wear tennis shoes with good grips or water shoes. Leave everything on the bus as it is secured in a locked, private lot. The hike can be strenuous at times, a couple of oversized rocks to climb, but the guides help you all the way. They even take pictures and videos of everyone and share them with you at the end. You have nothing to worry about with Bespoke. After you experience the rainforest, waterfall slide, jump into the water and take it all in, you are guided out and washed off so that you don't drag so much mud onto the bus. Then it's time for a late lunch! You get to pick from one of the many food kiosks in Luquillo. I would do this activity all over again and again and again! You will not be disappointed!

The whole experience was well planned and we couldn’t have gotten a better guide, driver, and crew. If you book this, try to get George, Luis, and Tarzan (not his real name). All three treated the entire group of us like family, and was very accommodating to ensure our 8-year old daughter….the only child on the tour….was fully included and safe at all times.
