Our tour guide, Chiara, was a delight. She was absolutely amazing with our 4 young kids. She kept them entertained while also educating my husband and I on some more important facts. She was also very good about “reading” the kids body language and adjusted the tour accordingly. It was everything and more than we could have expected.

Great tour guide! Valentina was very knowledgeable and engaging. She was able to keep our 3 year old 16year old and 19 year old interested entire tour. Highly recommend, it’s the only way we will tour from now on.

If this tour was only for me and my husband, I would have rated it 5 stars. Since my daughter, 9. and son, 13, were also with us, I give fewer stars as they were not factored in when guiding us through the Vatican. The tour description says it is an engaging tour for kids and that we will see Nero’s bathtub and Egyptian artifacts as well as looking for animals and countries in St Peters Basilica. We did none of those activities. I don’t think our guide knew it was supposed to be a tour for kids. Dora was a wonderful historian with an amazing amount of information but the kids grew tired and had a hard time for the last hour and a half. If you book this tour, call to confirm you will be receiving a family guide!
