Ephesus and the nearby sites were stunning in the quality and quantity of what is preserved, and in their significance in how they connect to ancient history and the Christian faith. Filiz was our guide, and she was wonderful. She was very well-spoken and knew a tremendous amount of history. She is genuinely devoted to her role as a guide, and it suits her very well. She was kind and sensitive to the needs of my elderly mother, especially as we went during a time that was very hot. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch before seeing the artistry of the carpet-makers, which was very impressive. We did end up purchasing some small rugs; they are not inexpensive, but they are works of art and craftsmanship, and they will be beautiful reminders of our time there. Many thanks to Filiz for her hospitality.

The tour was quite good and informative. House of Virgin Mary, the Basilica of St. John and Sirince village. It was a little challenging finding our guide outside, but once we met up, all went well.

The tour guide kept pushing us to stop by a business to taste Turkish delights when I stated that I just wanted to visit two sites. I'm pretty sure they get a commission on any goods that are purchased by customers. I booked this "tour" because the ads stated that I could have car seats for babies/toddlers. I even got confirmation from the vendor that they'll provide carseats. The day of the tour, zero carseats were provided (we had 3 babies with us ). According to the tour guide, no tour vendors provide this. This is false advertising.

This is the way to go to avoid large groups and traveling with slow walkers or people who would rather use the restroom than see the sights. Our guide was an expert on the area and was born and raised in Turkey.

Contratamos desde Argentina vía online una visita a Efesos desde Kusadasi, con guía personal en español. Nos buscaron puntuales del hotel. El vehículo era cómodo y espacioso. El guía Oguz fue muy amable, tenía muchos conocimientos que nos compartió de manera entretenida y divertida. El tour incluyó Casa de la Virgen, ruinas de Efesos, Templo de Artemisa, y agregamos el Museo arqueológico en Efesos. El almuerzo incluido en el tour estaba muy rico y abundante, comida casera. Visitamos también fábrica de alfombras y de prendas de cuero. Todos fueron muy amables.

Our private guide Ilker, was excellent. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, he was fun to be with. My husband and I had been there twice before, but he was by far our best guide. He made suggestions as to places we might enjoy, but definitely took us to the ones of our choosing. Thanks for a great tour!
