Overview
We will head straight out onto the streets to try one of the Kingdom's oldest and most delicious dishes, steeped in Cambodian folklore.We will then step out to a local market where Khmer Cuisine will be debunked and devoured. We will try some tropical fruits, interesting desserts, the best ribs in the Kingdom (trust us!) and maybe even some creepy crawlies. En route we will swing by a couple of our favourite street stalls, owned by generations of vendors.
We then head for our main fare (yep - there's more) where we will enjoy a variety of dishes and a live local music. Eat dinner family style, as the locals do, washed down with bottomless beverages!
Finally, we will finish up in one of the cities emerging night life hot spots for an evening cocktail. The tour includes about 6 stops around all corners of the city and over 20 tastings, you will get an insight into Cambodia's often under-represented food scene, rich history and culture. Come hungry!

Jackson and Arthur were my tour guides for the night. I was the only person that booked the food tour that evening, so it was essentially a private food tour for me. At first, I thought it'd be awkward. But Jackson shared that parties of 1 occur about 5x a month, and he and his guides always tries to honor the bookings, even if they don’t make money from 1-person tours, because they want every single individual to have a positive and memorable experience of Cambodia. Jackson and Arthur brought me to plenty of good local spots that I wouldn’t have other found or experimented with by myself. They enthusiastically ate the food with me, and we had great conversations at each location. Jackson and Arthur were knowledgeable about the different foods stops and the various dishes that were ordered, and therefore they were able to provide many interesting commentary and context. The food spots they took me to were all very delicious. There were a good mix of food, such as standard fare with local flairs, as well as more exotic and adventurous types of food. I enjoyed sampling all the food. I have taken many food tours before and this was one of the top experiences. Very well put together, very well thought out. Also they prioritize customer experience above all else.

Our family of 5 with 3 teens had an awesome food tour experience of Phnom Penh last night. Our tour guide Jackson and tuk-tuk drivers Mr Lucky and Mr Van were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we were really well looked after. The food venues and food selection was on another level with so many hidden gems that took our taste buds on an adventure! We have been to many food tours around the world and we would rate this tour as one of the best! A "must-do" when in Phnom Penh!!

This was the best thing I did in Phnom Penh by far. Cambodian food is so good and varied and I would have never gotten to experience a lot of it without this tour. You go to popular places but also places you would probably never go to on your own. Arrive hungry! You will have more food than you could possibly eat. And it’s all amazingly delicious. Sam was a great guide and very accommodating. If there was something we wanted to try he basically made it happen. If you think you can DIY a food tour like this one you would be very wrong. Spend the money and do this.

This was such a fun trip even as a solo traveler. Sam our tour guide was so knowledgeable and funny. He provided details about all the yummy food we were trying. We even made a stop by the Royal Palace so we could take pictures of it all lit up at night. All of the food was delicious and my recommendation is to come hungry because you will leave super full! Great great tour!

Our food guide, Sam, made this a memorable and enjoyable night. His knowledge of the food, background information and local history with his friendly nature made this a special night. From meeting the food vendors and watching meal preparation to walking through the night markets we really got a taste for local cuisine and night life. These were not high-end restaurants but those used by locals, so the authenticity of the food was evident. The food was plentiful and topped off with generous amounts of beverages. Also, a call out to our tuk tuk driver who safely navigated us through the crazy Phnom Penh traffic which in itself was a memorable experience. Altogether a great experience

We love a food tour and they are limited in choice in PP. Thankfully this one is AMAZING! We were taken around numerous back street eateries by Jackson, who was very entertaining and enthusiastic. We went to places we wouldn't dare go on our own and tried loads of fantastic food. Really, there was loads! We had a lovely group and ended at a very trendy bar for a cocktail. A must to try local food and take in some of the sights at night.

If you are in Phnom Penh then you absolutely HAVE to do this tour! Jackson and our driver Lucky were absolutely amazing with loads of knowledge about the city and all of the history behind the food. There is more food than you can possibly imagine, all of which is absolutely delicious (and unique) and you can't beat riding around the city with a beer in hand going from stop to stop. The cocktail at the end was also great and a good chance to get to know each other better. YOU MUST BOOK THIS TOUR!!!!
