  This was the best thing we have done since we came to Vietnam! It is not just a food tour but an experience! Nancy is so knowledgeable, took us to all the best food in Hoi An, coffee, bingo (the one by the River that you may have seen and wondered how you join in) and it finished with a boat ride on the River. The price is serious value for money and she also has lots of recommendations for the things we want to do and buy here. We are not “tour people” but this was outstanding. We are so so happy we booked with Nancy. Thank you so so much!

  What a great tour! Our guide was Emma; such a genuinely lovely person who clearly loves her job. She explained what every meal was, the background behind the dish and how to eat it. We had white rose dumplings, wontons, cau lau, bahn mi, coffee or tea of our choice (the salted coffee and ginger tea were amazing), pork skewers, crispy pancakes and a little surprise that was definitely a first for us 😉. There were probably more dishes that we tried but I was in a food coma by this time 😊. We visited a tailor shop as I said that I was looking to have a dress made for a family wedding, we went on a boat trip down the river where we made wishes before putting our lanterns into the river and the last stop was playing a game of Vietnamese bingo which was really great fun before being put safely back into a taxi back to our hotel. What a fantastic way to learn about a new town; Emma thank you so much, you made 2 first time visitors to Vietnam very happy indeed.

  I always like to start my visits with a food tour to get acquainted with the area and to learn about the local food options. Nancy took us to THE spots in Hoi An. The local restaurants just outside of ancient old town. These are the places where the restaurants source their food and ancient old town. We got the best of the best. White rosé dumplings from THE main spot, banh mi from the Banh Mi queen!! Cao Lau, street food, etc! Then we went to the beautiful river to play Vietnamese bingo and ride on the canoe at night! It was my favorite part of our visit to Hoi An!! Thank you, Nancy!!

  Definitely worth the experience, got a very knowledgeable guide in Nancy who explained the history and background of the food and places. Was brought on a more local experience rather than commercialised tourist traps. Couldn’t find other places that can make better dishes than those introduced.

  What a great way to experience the foods and culture of Hoi An! Nancy was a fun, entertaining and very knowledgeable guide. She took us to so many top places and we ate so many delicious foods! Come really hungry!! The Vietnamese singing bingo game was surprisingly fun. Then to finish the evening with a boat ride surrounded by the vibrant lights and lanterns of Hoi An was perfect. We highly recommend this!

  We loved Hoi An, and having Vi (Nancy) as our Foodie Tour guide was great. Vi is very witty and fun. She's also organized and very caring. Highly recommend this tour, but come with an empty stomach because there is a lot of good food to eat. You'll get a good sampling of some of the classic dishes for the area.

  Our guide Jackie was fantastic! She took us around to 5 different restaurants in the city to try many local cuisines. Not only did she guide us but she also told us about the food and the history behind it. After eating, we played a fun bingo game in the old city and finished off with a nice boat ride. It was a great tour! Thanks again Jackie!!

  We booked this tour with (Nancy) Vi for our first night in Hoi An. What a great introduction to the city and its amazing food! Vi and Son took wonderful care of us as we navigated the streets of the old city and the surrounding area. Vi’s stops were carefully chosen so we had the original or only provider of the dish that all the restaurants in town bought it from. We ate it fresh from the source. (White Rose Dumplings) Come with an empty stomach. It’s a lot of food and it’s all really good. We ended the night playing a traditional game. Go with it. This was surprisingly fun. Then we got on a boat and we’re paddled down the river. This is quite an experience as both sides of the river and the bridges and boats are all lit by lanterns. It’s a bit surreal and magical.

  Nancy was a fantastic guide, who took my girlfriend and I two the best local restaurants in Hoi An. We had a lovely boat ride in the river and played bingo with the locals. 10/10 experience!
