Enthusiastic guide, she had to drive the bus and give a tour at the same time. With the tour 'Wildlife Safari' we had hoped to spot some wild animals. Unfortunately it remained with a goat and a deer. The tour led us past various picnic areas, where also we did not expected to spot wildlife. She told us a lot about her experiences in the wild but unfortunately she could not show it to us. Not recommended
We tried all day on our own to see bears, deer bucks and long horned sheep but to no avail. Our tour guide Jessy made it seem easy and entertained us all the way with great banter and tons of facts about the park and the animals; not to mention, he answered every question we had with the kind of detail only an experienced animal enthusiast would have. We filmed a bear eating berries up close (about 10 feet from our bus) for about 2 minutes from various angles. Jessy really pushed to get the shot!
Our guide, Dennis, made the evening. He had so much good information. Even if we had not seen animals we would have enjoyed it. He was warm, funny and knowledgeable.
The driver had amazing knowledge of the animals and area. Didn’t see a bear but was still worth the money.
It was a perfect evening for seeking wildlife and we were lucky enough to see bighorn sheep on 2 occasions, a mule deer and female elks on 2 occasions. Driver Jeff was terrific and even offered to go to Mt Norquay to try our luck despite it being past the tour end time. Interesting talk by Andrew from Parks and Wildlife.
Had an outstanding evening with our guide Denise. Very knowledgable, friendly and courteous. Shared experiences and knowledge of the area, wildlife, and forests. A really wonderful time and would definitely do it again.
We had an amazing guide and saw elk, deer and even a black bear! This tour was a fantastic way to see Banff and we highly recommend it!
Excellent Tour, saw Bears, Elk and Mountain goats with great tour guide Denise. We went as a family with 2 kids for a 2+ hour tour and had a great time. Very informative tour and the guide Denise kept it interesting and fun for all including the kids. We saw a black bear eating berries, female and baby mountain goats and Elk. It was a beautiful drive and we got to see some cool wildlife. Highly recommended tour for a family.
Very enjoyable! Small group, our driver/guide was interesting and courteous. We were fortunate to see several elk, but I am sure there were lots of eyes watching us!
The guide we had was really great, cracking jokes all along the way. The drive was lovely - we went to both Lake Minnewanka and the Vermillion lakes. We saw a couple of elk - one a mother with a fawn, which was great, and then a deer, but that was pretty much it. Had better luck seeing bears on our own, the following morning driving along the Bow Valley parkway.
