This was a bucket list trip and everything about the tripnwas amazing. Our guides, Prakash and Urken, adapted to our group's needs, helped us feel comfortable and shared a lot of great knowledge so we could participate in the culture of Nepal along the trek. I can't imagine this trip without the support of our guides and porters. They all were attentive and helpful and professional throughout. Our time in Kathmandu was also fun and we had a lot of opportunities to see Bhagwat, which felt like having a personal concierge for all of our questions. I have already recommended this company to friends and coworkers.

The trek was fantastic. I've never experienced mountains like this before. There was plenty of time for photography and interaction with other trekkers. Each day on the trek, at the end of the day, if somehow the trek had had to end, I would have left happy. We were a family group of 6 with varying hiking speeds, and were combined with 2 people from India for the trek. Through careful selection of guide and assistant guide, Himalayan Adventure Treks was able to accommodate all languages and hiking speeds. The head guide was attentive, flexible, and good at solving any problem. Compared to guides we saw for other groups, he was especially good. We were shuttled effortlessly from and to the airport all the many times required upon arrival of multiple subsets of participants, for the trek itself, and then for departure home. Their office is near the hotel, and Himalayan Adventure Treks regularly checked in to make sure we were happy with how everything was going before and after the trek. We ended up having a couple of people helicoptered out (not emergencies) from the last town near EBC, and Himalayan Adventure Treks effortlessly coordinated all the complicated logistics associated with that. Very highly recommended, both as a trek to do, and as an outfitter.

The EBC trek is an aspirational one for many including myself. I would like to thank the team of Himalayan Adventure - proprietor Mr. Bhagwat Simkhada, main guide Mr. Prakash Adhikari, assistant guide Mr. Urken Sherpa and the whole team of porters - for helping me achieve this dream. They are amazing people to trek with. Never lost sight of me for a moment during the entire trek and went to great lengths to ensure that even a novice trekker like me was able to enjoy the trek completely. The team is so professional no one will ever realise the amount of back-breaking hard work that goes on behind the scenes. I saw many groups consisting of members with different trekking pace but only one guide, which meant that invariably the novice trekkers were left to fend for themselves at the back-end every day. Team Himalayan Adventure will never do that to you, whatever be the circumstances. You can trust them 1000% and that is why I will not hesitate to do more treks with them in the future. They are also very good with pointing out the local customs, points of interest and good practices on trek wrt diet/nutrition and overall well-being. As for the EBC trek itself, words cannot do it justice. Ignore all the negative comments from certain quarters about how crowded or commercialized it is. Come and experience it. Your experience is your own and cannot be dictated by others (many of whom may have never done it)! It's a hallmark trek and with good reason. Despite being the busiest of seasons I was lucky to have experienced hours and hours of solitude during the trek as well as serendipitous company almost on tap. That's the beauty of this long trek replete with a full gamut of scenes to enjoy. Everyone who is on the trek - irrespective of nationality or culture or religion or whatever - is only positive and encouraging, spurring you on to finish it well. Commercial and crowded it may be construed as, but I didn't find a single individual who wasn't positive or excited to be there irrespective of their underlying health condition, and pushing themselves safely to finish it (there were many on it who would normally have been considered as "unfit" for an endeavour like this). Be there to witness possibly the best of humanity. And let it bite that latent bug in you that will no doubt see you undertake more treks in the beautiful country of Nepal.

Everything was so smoothly organized, in a timely and friendly manner. The owner really takes care of his clients and works hard to resolve any issues. The trek was beautiful, food and accommodations were great. We even had time to do the Amadablam base camp trek- the guide was wonderful. As a solo female traveler, I would highly recommend this team. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

It's an unforgettable hike in pristine nature with throughout astonishing views Himalayan Adventure group worked around the constraints of all sorts as the weather conditions made it hard flying to Lukla, and after the hike when we were to fly back to Kathmandu from there. Throughout the hike, Prakash and his associate took care of planning and describing the hike days in advance, the stay for changing plans, and even food. The quality of service made it all a lot more convenient than imagined. If I was to do this hike again, I would certainly ask Himalayan Adventure group first.

This trip fulfilled a long held dream of doing something epic. It was not easy but it was so worth it. Doing this with my 5 adult children made this a special experience. Prior to the trip Bhagwat was always prompt to answer my questions. He was very accommodating to our needs while we were in Nepal. I was very happy with this tour company and can recommend it whole heartedly. I purchased trip insurance that included evacuation from high altitude. This turned out to be a great purchase. Prakash was our guide and he was fantastic. He is very experienced and he allayed many of my concerns. He assured me I wasn't too old (66) and was very encouraging the entire time. After successfully getting to Base Camp my daughter showed symptoms of altitude sickness and needed to be evacuated out. While I was working with the insurance company Prakash was arranging things behind the scenes. My favorite photo from the trip is a closeup of Prakash's hands on top of my daughters hands as he tried to comfort her while we waited for the helicopter. I love Prakash! He represents the best of humanity!

If I can give more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat . Himalayan Treks and Tours managed this whole EBC trek so well. Mr. Bhagwat was very prompt and accurate with responses to all our queries before the trek. From the point we arrived in Kathmandu till now when we are done with a magical EBC trek Mr. Bhagwat and the tour company took really good care of our group. Our tour guide Prakash, assistant guide Anup were both absolutely wonderful, knowledgeable and caring. They were patient with the group, always provided a great synopsis of what to expect on the next day of hike and were very approachable. Our porters, Mingmar and Nima were amazing too. Always smiling and ready to help. The trek experience wouldn’t have been the same without all of them. The trek in itself is a must do and while somewhat challenging especially on higher altitude days, rewards-to-efforts ratio is very high. The tea house accommodations selected were all good and being able to have dining room chats with trekkers around the world every night was added bonus. All-in-all based on our experience, I would highly recommend using Himalayan Treks and Tours for your trekking and touring needs in Nepal. It is a great local outfit that focuses highly on caring for their customers.

There are no words to describe our trek to see Everest. From beginning to end, this company took care of us (literally and figuratively). We had the most amazing guide, Angdawa, and the best porter, Hackba. Angdawa was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, funny and most importantly, patient. He never pushed us and always made sure we were well taken care of. The trek was difficult, but such a test of our mental and physical strengths. The views were absolutely breathtaking. The landscape and scenery changed every 30 minutes. It was the trip of a lifetime and Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours took care of everything from hotels to tea houses to delicious food and our health. I highly recommended the company and ask for “Dawa”, he made the trip a huge success! Thank you!!

This was AWESOME! Our guide was named Prakash, and he was an absolute delight. He is extremely knowledgeable about the trek and the trekking industry, and he was able to help us overcome any challenges so we could successfully and happily make it to base camp. At one point, I became ill from altitude sickness. Prakash held my hair back while I was sick, gave me medication, and regularly checked on me. He also wrapped my sister’s knee for her. We would not have been able to make it without him. And as far as base camp, and the rest of the trek, it was gorgeous! When I say it took my breath away, I don’t only mean from the altitude haha. It is a challenging, but definitely doable. (I live below sea level, and my 61-year-old mother came with us as well.) The feeling of accomplishment after reaching base camp cannot be understated, either. I highly recommend this experience. I will never forget it.
