I took the 7 day Everest Panorama View Trek in January and could not be happier with the experience. Pasang met me at the airport and everything went smoothly from there. The Kathmandu hotel was clean and comfortable and near a major Buddhist Temple and shopping. He made certain I made the flight to Lukla and took extra care of me after my return. He even invited me to his home for dinner (perhaps an advantage of being the only one on the trek during this off season). Nuru the guide and the Phudorji the porter were than accommodating for my slower trekking pace (I am 78 years old) and made certain I was safe on the precarious parts of the trail. They were highly knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. I would recommend this trek highly for those unable to take the time to do the Everest Base Camp or other longer trek. As a side note, trekking in the winter means some of the lodges will have frozen pipes in the bathrooms. You may have to pay extra for a hot shower in the trekking lodges. I also recommend scheduling an extra day in Kathmandu at the end just in case it is needed because of bad weather or other contingency and crampons to use on icy parts of the trails. We had beautiful weather--cold but clear.
