Have done this tour before a few years ago and this one really disappointed us this time. Small boats so you could not see out of windows no tour guide commentary, tour was late starting, and very little time on Burrano. I would suggest getting the local water bus to the islands so you can spend the time you want at the islands instead of being tied to a tour guide.

The tour details specified max 15 people per group, but there was well over 50 people on the tour. There was no real guide for the experience, even though I selected the English tour instead of the multi language tour (which was also and option), it was one lady speaking over the intercom giving a very limited description of what was around us in multi languages. It was hard to hear and could not make out most of what she was saying. Not a personal or small group vibe at all. We were shuttled on and off the boats and felt a bit like cattle. I think you could do the hop on off hop tour boat and walk around on your own time for less money. I do not recommend this tour.

It was nice having transportation to and from the islands but Venice has cheaper options for that than this tour. The glass blowing and lace demos were underwhelming.

  • 07-Jul-2023

Boat departed Venice 15 minutes late. Not enough seats on the boat on the way to Murano for the number of passengers. Time given in each island is not enough to walk and shop and/or eat.

  • 02-Jul-2023

The boat was a bit cramped. Murano was nice - the glassblowing was incredible. There was a very cute town in Burano but not enough time to enjoy a lunch. All in all, it’s a must do when in Venice.

  • 02-Jul-2023

Tour started late, boat was completely crowded and unsafe. Another passenger sat on the edge of my seat for the first leg, someone slipped coming down the ramp too. Microphone was broken so no tour happened. “island Tour” items were just to try to sell you glass and lace. No time to explore. Save yourself the hassle and just take a public water taxi

  • 02-Jul-2023

Pretty unorganized crew but they were respectful. Boat driver could not park the boat and cut into a large chunk of our visiting time on Burano which was very disappointing. On that note there also was not enough time built in on the actual islands. Would have preferred no demonstration if that’s what it takes to have more time to visit

  • 02-Jul-2023

Not enough time at the Islands. Go on your own and enjoy your day. It’s easy to get there. Take the water taxi.

  • 30-Jun-2023

Guide was multilingual and excellent…not much time given to explore Murano area except for glass factory

  • 29-Jun-2023

The tour provided a look into lace making and glass blowing but left little time to look around the islands and was a very big group. Guide was versatile in languages.
