Overview
Channel the legendary artist and architect Antoni Gaud during this fun, family-friendly mosiac workshop. Over the course of 2hours, you will learn the mosiac technique "trencadis," which he invented and can be found all over Barcelona's main monuments. You can choose between glass or ceramic to create a unique masterpiece in Gauds technique such as photo frame, top of a box, elefant and other decoration objects.

Itinerary:
You will experience being Gaudí for 2 hours. After a brief presentation of the technique of Antonio Gaudí, el Trencadís, you will learn how to handle the tools and how to create your mosaic artwork in Gaudis mosaic style:" el Trencadis". You can decorate a photo frame, salamander, heart, fish, elephant, cat, dog, seahorse, top of a box, place mats, tray and free design of a square (for example the Sagrada Familia). The bases of the decoration objects are wood. You will work with ceramic tiles, but there is also a possibility to work with Tiffany glass (+15€ for the 2h workshop per person). The “Gaudí Experience” will be an unforgettable, special and unique reminder of Gaudí’s Barcelona. The participants of this workshop will experience the Gaudi spirit in a relaxed atmosphere and will be tutored by one of our artesan masters. You should take into account that the artwork produced by the end of the workshop will have to be grouted by staff. Usually, the artwork can be picked up later on in the afternoon or on the next morning if the workshop has taken place in the afternoon. Our MOSAICCOS experience is also sustainable and awarded with the BIOSPHERE certification 2023.

What a great experience for our family of five! We did the private session and everyone had an incredible time - we had fun, got creative and came away with great souvenirs. This was lovely. I am so glad that I booked this experience. There was such a nice atmosphere as soon as we came in. The young girl who was helping us was particularly pleasant and interesting to chat to. My daughter and I had a very happy time together creating our mosaics. When we went to collect our pieces the next day, they looked beautiful. Would recommend this to anyone. It was just such a nice thing to do. Thank you!

What a wonderful hour we spent here! We learnt so much and our kids had a ball creating their mosaic boxes (the adults didn’t do too badly either🤣)! Such helpful and knowledgeable staff, who went out of their way to assist us - well worth a visit! They also went out of their way to finish the adult pieces in 30 mins so we didn’t have to come all the way back to collect…….
