I loved the tour guide and how he kept it exciting and relatable with a lot of jokes. I was shown the queen been which I would never have known what she looked like. The tastings were amazing. Very informative

The bee tour was one of my favorite outings while on the Big Island. Bee Keeper Joe was fabulous and should really have his own YouTube channel. He was passionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly funny. My small kids (who were terrified of bees before the tour) loved it and so did the adults. The honey flavored treats and honey samples are delicious. A great low-key outing to take a break from the beach and a great value.

For the most part I enjoyed the tour. It was very informative as Joe made sure we learned a lot about honeybees. I liked Joe and he has a lot of personality. I also liked getting to sample the different types of honey. My one criticism is that I felt like the ranting about misinformation and how people get misled into thinking honeybees are endangered was a little bit over the top. Like, it is absolutely really good information and I'm glad Joe was able to dispel some myths and talk to people about thinking critically and not believing everything you hear about bees. But... It just kept going on and on and repeating the same points multiple times.

Loved this tour!! Joe was energetic, funny, and taught us so much. He very clearly loves what he does. We are now going to be more mindful of the honey we buy and continue to educate ourselves on bees 🐝

An interesting and informative experience about the fascinating world of bees was led by Joe with an entertaining style! The honey tasting was delicious!

This was very enjoyable and informative. Joe was great in answering all of the questions and providing a very good presentation about the bees, showing them, but keeping us all safe. When you get to the tasting of the honey, just be careful with that spicy honey; it really is spicy and I wasn't ready for that one.

Really enjoyed this tour. Have done coffee farm, mac nut, and chocolate farm tours on the Big Island, but this was the first Bee Farm tour (a little appehensive since I'm allergic...). Felt very comfortable with set up and Apiarist (yeah, I had look that up) Joe was very knowledgeable, informative and entertaining. The honey tasting was also interesting, as we had never considered the variables affecting the honey flavors.

This was a most enjoyable tour. Joe was super informative and entertaining! And the honey tasting was great. I wanted to leave with some of everything.

We did the tour, and were very impressed with Joe’s depth of knowledge about bees and bee keeping and the local flora. He had a wonderful manner about him as well. It was quite a lot of fun!
